Just experienced Elite House impressive customer service and commitment. Did wedding dinner booking last year end (2020) for coming year end (2021). They said due to COVID uncertainty, they will note down my booking and deposit could be done on early 2021. Further details and discussion could take place early 2021. They said this way, customer will benefit and confident when COVID policy gets clearer. If any incoming booking by other customer between that period, they will call and align with us before accepting it. Today we went to check/discuss on our booking, also plan to pay deposit. Shockingly found out that they accepted other customer, gave out grand hall (upstair) to them. Assigned us small part of the hall upstair and remaining downstair. We tried to understand the situation, thinking that such arrangement is awkward. How should we manage our guest when they separated into 2 venues? We caught by surprise Elite House respond in a impolite manner, telling us this is how it is. First time we experience business commitment is nothing to be serious about. Want to book for more than 10 people but said only limited for 10. If extra guests must buy outside food or cook extra dishes and bring along to the restaurant for the extra guests. No brain giving ridiculous suggestion. If have to cook or buy extra dishes what for come to your restaurant. Also very expensive from year to year. Overcharged customers. Must make full payment for the reunion also. More than RM1k . Reason because only one cashier counter operating so if didn't pay first need to wait for more than an hour to pay on that day. This shows their poor management as when customers book for more than 10 they cannot cope and gave 10 people portion only although charging for more than 10 . The man also rudely said if don't want to book never mind. Is this the way to treat customers? Maybe business too big so don't bother if losing a customer. No more going there. You are not the only restaurant. Sooner or later will lose customers to very poor management....
