Queue is incredibly long because they take at least 5-6 mins to serve one customer(my estimations comes from standing by and observing them work, watched them prepare with a stop timer). Why? Because only one person (lady) is actually taking order, slicing the squid, assembling the fruits and collecting the cash. She doesn’t assemble it very fast because every time she assembled she takes time to think. The good thing is that she is detailed and meticulous. The bad thing is, it is inefficient. Plus with each customer adding their own customisation (add spice, takeaway/ eat now) it all adds to the time taken and thus the queue gets longer and longer. There’s an old grandpa but he’s preparing fruits (washing them with a bucket by the side of road and cutting up fruits next to the big drain) and the old grandma just prepping the rojak sauce only. Lady boss needs to get a new helper or standardise the orders by preparing as much as possible beforehand, let everyone takeaway( no custom preparation), no customisations. Otherwise everyone, please wait unnecessarily for 1 hour to eat something you can finish in 5 mins. Btw this stall is next to a big smelly drain and by the busy road, so if you don’t have a strong stomach, please be prepared for a rojak that comes w sewage smell and the taste of...

You can't find this flavourful and delicious rojak elsewhere, please expecting at least 2 hours of waiting for this rojak.

The rojak sauce is epic, strong prawn paste flavour and sweeter site personally. Fried breadstick (youtiao) is a must on this, I would recommend to try the light spicy rojak sauce, it is absolutely delicious. You may pack the rojak sauce as well. Service was great as well able to customize whatever you want like with shrimps or peanuts or cucumber etc.

The rojak comes in RM9, RM11, and RM13.

Recommendation to the owner, You may consider changing your rojak to one serving size which may speed up your packing process. Please be fair and request all customers to queue up for your rojak instead of call for booking and letting those queuing up waited for 2 hours. Your service was excellent keep it up, your service deserved my 5...

Visited 27/07/2024 Saturday evening. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience

Always wanted to try this rojak but didn't get the chance to. Today finally got the chance to try. We arrived around 730pm and not much queue. We ordered the large portion to try.

Due to personal preference I don't quite like the sweetness. Too sweet for my liking or for anything to taste good. If you don't want to lose your arms or leg 🦵 just once is enough.

We threw away half of the portion. Too sweet to taste good.

This a a small family run stall on Cecil street that opens in the early afternoon. When the seller arrived to open up, there were 20 customers lined up and waiting. Setting up was quick though. This is perhaps a little different from the rojak we are normally used to. All orders are for take away as the seller does not have a large bowl to mix the sauce with the fruits and the sauce is brown (quite unlike the usual black you find everywhere else). And it is thick and chewy. Well the trick is to let ut rest after you have scooped it out over your fruits. On spreading the sauce will begin to 'water down' making it easier to eat. I'd rate it 4 stars and a must try if youre visiting Penang.

The rojak paste is nice and very thick, there are rm7, rm10 and rm14 to choose from. The portion is not big and consider quite pricy compare to other rojak in Penang. You can see many people line up to buy, one of the reason is many people but to me it is more bcos the lady boss is too slow, like to chit chat, always forget where she put her sauce, you tiao or fruit, very very very forgetful and disorganize. I waited almost 1hour for a queue with 5 people in front of me, you can understand how slow it is. Don’t line up if u can’t wait and can’t stand the slowness of the lady boss. The rojak though is nice but u can get pretty similar one at else place
