After reading the good and bad reviews,, we decided to give it a try. As advised in reviews, we (2 of us) called for a reervation and grab there instead of driving. Upon arrival, we were being seated. The place looks more like a fast food chain than a seafood restaurant - I didn't detect any fishy smell either. The pic brought a box with 2 crabs explaining about sizes of crabs available for the night and the 9 choices of preparation - baked, curry, chilli, salted egg, marmite, mala, buttermilk, black pepper or kam heong. We ordered 1 baked crab, size 900g-1kg.The crab is fresh, juicy and sweet. I don't even need to dip any of the sauce provided. Tools like hammer, cracker and picks were provided along with disposable gloves and aprons. We like the sweet and savoury Crab meat corn soup and very fresh butter tiger prawns. Platter combo is so-so, but goes well with their homemade Thai sauce. We paid RM269 for the meal - I won't consider this as cheap but the value of food and our satisfaction are well worth it. We felt that we get what we paid for and overall, food exceeded our expectation, staff are friendly and attentive, place is clean and comfortable with air conds. Looking forward for another meal here when we are...

A nice cosy place to have dinner i.e. seafood (crab) specifically.

We had an initial 2 person set that came with 2 good enuff sized crabs in curry, 6 mini man-tous, spicy clams and salted egg squid. It was so nice, we just had to have another set to include 2 "chilli" crabs, stirred fried kangkong with garlic and deep fried shrimp.

The crabs are fresh and tasty. The rest of the side dishes are great that we actually finished every single last bit. I gotta specially mention that the spicy clams are very good and you can actually find a clam under every shell, kinda different experience from the norm where many a times, shells are empty when served.

The staff are attentive and will repeat your orders so if you get a wrong order, i gotta say it will be pretty much your own fault so be nice.

I had the herbal tea for a drink and was pleasantly surprised that it came unsugared and the staff provides a bottle of sweeteners for you to peck you own drink. i had my unsugared as is and it complemented the meal alot.

The pricing is also reasonably good.

Apologies but i dun have all the pictures of the food as i was literally on the go in the first set and only had presence to catch...

Crab is what they are branded for. When we went through the menu with the waitress who was quite helpful in explaining the recipe, we suspected that the food would not be as good as we expected. We ordered a 500-600g crab fried with salted egg to try, a clam dish, two bowls of corn crab soup, and fried mantou. It turned out that the crab was dead for a while since the meat was not as firm as fresh crabs, and was significantly smaller than the size of the 500g uncooked crab the waitress showed to us before ordering. Plus, both the crab and the clams tasted flavorless. The soup and mantou were much more satisfactory. The waitress did not come back to ask us how the food was, just brought us at the end a bill with 10% service charge already added. We felt fortunate not having ordered the more expensive crabs. We arrived at around 5pm and the restaurant was empty the entire time we dined there. Not sure if the crabs can be better quality when the...

A cute name for a crab and seafood eatery, but I wonder how many diners would realise the clever pun with the well known English expression "Holy Cra#!!"😁😄. Jokes aside, and food-wise, I would say it is a nice place to savour a variety of crab dishes, cooked in familiar fusion Southeast Asian flavours. Crabs served were super fresh and meaty. We tried the Singapore style Chilli Crab and Salted Egg Crab, with sides of soft shelled crab tempura, coconut gravy clams and fried seafood fritters with french fries. All dishes go well with a plate of warm white rice. Alternatively, the Chilli Crab sauce was piquantly flavourful and could be an excellent dipping sauce for fried mantou in lieu of rice. Overall, a nice crab & seafood dinner nook at old Tye Sin Street GeorgeTown. Streetside parking (free after 6 pm) should not be a problem for a mid-week evening outing here.
