Should I call this place a restaurant or a lousy coffee shop which we can only have minimal expectation to them? I don't usually do public review but this is one of the times that I have no choice but to highlight this pretty " famous and tasty" vegan cuisine place. The reason I am writing this as I have given another chance after the super bad/ extremely bad/ awful/ devastating experience ( if there is a better word to describe bad and i will use it) and the same problem still occur during my second order.
Kindly don’t provide delivery service if you all can’t cater the needs and handle well of customer. I am full of disappointment with this restaurant. TO THE PEOPLE WHO OWNS THIS BUSINESS: you have not to do any others but IMPROVE YOUR SYSTEM FOR DELIVERY and ensure there is a fixed person to liaise with customer at WhatsApp for taking order and enquiries.
LET ME SHARE WHAT I EXPERIENCED. For first order, Ordered the food at 12.45pm on 9/10/2021 then received the first response from them at 1.29pm. (I don't understand why took nearly 45 minutes to send a single message. I understand it is lunch hour and busy but this is not an excuse for it.)
I ordered my food to be delievered at 6.30pm but received nearly to 8pm. Also, upon my ordering of avocado drink, but was told out of stock at 2.56pm. Then, they told me it was available at 6pm as there is someone does not want it. I am clueless of the whole process of how their system works like. Bear in mind that I placed my order at 12.45pm and confirmed my order at 2pm. Question: why didn't inform at the first place when I order ?
Note: I have be pathetic to get their every single reply at least 20minutes to 1 hour after I message them. (Honestly, I am very curious how they sustain their business to now if their service is so bad and just so because of their food is nice ?) p/s: the food was average and it was not what I expected.
In the end, received the cold food but I ordered hot food. What is this ? Nevertheless, they gave a rm6 voucher for next purchase. STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT EPISODE.
Note: due to character limit over here, I will make another review on my second order with the...
Read moreI recently ordered the Chinese New Year Vegetarian Treasure Pot, and I must say, it was a huge disappointment. Here's why:
Misleading Portion Size: The advertisement boasted that the pot could serve 6-8 people, but in reality, it barely fed 3-4 individuals. It was like they used a magnifying glass to photograph the portion size.
Artificial Taste: Despite being marketed as containing 100% natural ingredients without any mock meat, it tasted anything but natural. Instead of enjoying authentic flavors, it felt like I was consuming a concoction of artificial additives. The taste was reminiscent of most other vegetarian foods with extensive artificial flavoring, which was far from satisfying.
Uncooked and Tough Ingredients: Following the cooking instructions to a tee, I steamed the treasure pot for the recommended 20 minutes after defrosting. However, much to my dismay, most of the ingredients were still uncooked and incredibly tough. Even after an additional 20 minutes of steaming, ingredients like chestnuts, lotus roots, and others remained stubbornly hard and difficult to chew.
Overpriced: Not only did the Chinese New Year Vegetarian Treasure Pot was also outrageously overpriced for what it offered. Considering the small portion size, artificial taste, and undercooked ingredients, the price tag felt like a slap in the face. It's infuriating to pay top dollar for a product that falls so short on every front. Save yourself the disappointment and the dent in your wallet by avoiding this overpriced disappointment of a meal.
Overall, this experience left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. I expected a delicious and wholesome vegetarian feast for the Lunar New Year, but instead, I got a tiny, artificial-tasting pot of uncooked ingredients. Save your money and your taste buds, and look elsewhere for a genuine...
Read moreWe had an online reservation for the poon choi. Chosen pick up at this store. Before we collect we did put in effort to check with the customer service (WhatsApp number we got online when we placed order) whether it’s ready for pickup or need any prior confirmation. Customer service replied that we can pickup anytime (replied on the date which we can do our pick up) however upon arrival at the restaurant were treated like a scammer because we aren’t sure whether we can use the confirmation number or invoice number for the pick up.Then the Chinese national staff instead of politely show us which is the correct reference or invoice number she started blasting unkind words “if everyone do like this gone they can say anything they want and claim the product bla bla bla”. Then we have to wait for another 20mins+ for her to check while she continuing scolding and putting blame on the marketing team. Eventhough we eventually got our products, but this unpleasant encounter really make me think not twice but thrice before ever again stepping into this restaurant. Word of advice: if owner/management are unable to train staff or come out with a good process and communication flow, then maybe reconsider if whether you should downscale your business or all together whether to continue with F&B or service line. PS: made a complain to the customer service but I highly doubt they will handle this professionally because customer service staff also told their customer “they told you to wait right?”. Again wait is not the problem, Lack of manners and throwing tantrums to innocent paying...
