Several stalls opened for dinner time. The majority of the stalls are at par with fair, affordable price. Love the nasi lemak and wonton noodles.
Great place for dinner, but terrible experience with the beverage stall.
I thought its a state owned food court but apparently not as I expected. Just to clarify, there was no signboard or note in the area stating that at least one drink is required for each table.
During my meal there, I had 3 different workers to ask me for ordering drinks. Which I had declined all 3 of them since I knew I had accidentally ordered too much food for me alone.
Then after I almost finished my food (which is obviously very large in size with my snacks still left untouched on my table), this lady from the beverage stall (seems to be the owner) came by to me and told me 'hey you should at least order a drink'.
I immediately pointed at the foods and told her I'd accidentally ordered too much this time and I couldn't finish it if I ordered another drink with you.
She then insisted for me to order at least a small sized drink, she said she can't let me go without order any drinks as no chance can be given or else other customer will start to act like me. I mean...I am their regular customer and I often had dinner here, making profit from one less drink from me wouldn't hurt your beverage empire what... why are they treating me like a spoilt brat? It is very obvious that my food is very large in size, and I literally told her I can't finish. In the end, she only let me go after I ordered a drink.
After my meal, I went to check with the other stall owners. Just to find out they don't even own the premises. Not sure why they felt they are so entitled.
It would make much more sense for them to approach me like this if they need to pay high rental for the premises. But with a stall like that able to afford at least 3 workers, I believe it's already a cash printer and yet still so stingy to forcefully have their customer for ordering drinks.
Oh yeah, in addition, I pretty sure one of their worker...

They deep fry the noodles and subsequently poach the noodles. Their dumplings are bursting with goodness. The stall selling deep fried tofu and fermented bean sauce pork is also delightful. Go further in and you’ll also find a wonderful oyster omelette stall run by a beautiful old lady. The fruit juices here...
