The Landmark By Homey Planet (Short Stay) — Hotel in George Town

I made the mistake of booking unit 33-3 which belongs to them.

The place is unacceptably dirty and needs a deep clean. Just a few of the issues:

there are stains and hair on the bedsheets (were they even changed?) Bathroom is dirty. (Toilet, splattered in the wall next to the sink, etc.) there are hairs on the dining table One couch has dirty stains. The other smells of sweat and clearly hasn’t even been wiped. The kitchen cupboards have fingerprints on them. They also clearly haven’t been wiped. ⁠Filters of the aircon have probably never been changed/cleaned. The air coming out of them stinks and gave me a sore throat.

The accumulation of all these issues made it so we could not comfortably stay there, so we left and moved to the citadines down the road.

The owner offered to do another quick clean, which would clearly be insufficient and had refused to refund us anything despite the place being clearly...

The hotel is acceptable for the price. The management should provide better explanation about the check-in procedure and parking. There is no lobby to speak of and neither is there a drop off point. So one doesn't know where to go. As there were many cars coming I had to park in the closest parking area which happened to be reserved for residents. It was a hassle to drag my luggage and check in and eventually drive out and park in the right area. On the day of my return we found that the lifts are fully crammed. The unit in level 27 that we stayed in has a really strong funky smell🤮 the flooring has dried up foot print and brown stains.
