first time facing the most bad situation.. I had booked this property early but there is no any follow up or suggestion from owner including not any single advice.. until the day I start my journey from kuantan... he only contact me when I ask the room key on the my travelling day with my family from kuantan..
you guys just imagine.. we had a long journey and very tiring.. when we arrived.. Its take time for this property to reply me.. he did't any call ya..
He ask how many pax to check in.. "acting like he was infront of us"- and simply ask me to accept his offer to upgrafe the room..
I was shock because normally, we stay at any homestay or hotel based on our booking and It's doesn't matter if we bring 1 or 2 more people if it still can suit to our comfort.
This properties insist for me to make the payment.. start from this point, I know there is something wrong with this management.. I scroll and found there is a few customer got the same issues..
I do report to booking.com and they already email to this property to do cancellation.
I write here just to let all people know about this bad management.. and please do not simply accept their offer.
hopefully there is a justice for me & others.. please avoid to stay here..
I managed to booked another room at another hotel after I walk away from this bad management properties..
please remember.. they use Seaview Holiday Room by Sanguine in booking.com or another names.. just please.. do not ever booking any homestay apartment at penang
Just to update.. booking.com already reply me and inform that they will not do the refund because the properties owner have a right to not allow me to stay if I do not pay the extra charges to upgrade room haha... so remember guys.. better you stat at nearest hotel with the same prices rather than stay at this stupid scammer propeties.. I'm gratefull to get another hotel on that night with the lowest prices including breakfast.. better do not stay at apartment service and do not using online platform to deal with scammer...

Apparently, our car was BOOTED in the Jazz Hotel parking lot. They share the parking lot with "Jazz Suites" and we parked in the lot (because we were given no further instructions)... the security booted our car and demanded 100RM ($25) to unboot it. The management wasn't there because it was a Saturday, and Jazz Hotel Penang wouldn't reimburse for the money. We spoke to Jazz Suites management, and they were absolutely rude, uncooperative, and unfit for tourism. This lady, Evon, was extremely rude, dismissive, and behaved disgustingly. RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS HOTEL - fails 4-star service test. Truly disappointing - the parking lot is a scam. FOUR other cars had to pay within the same hour we were there.
