Rock Till Dawn Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in George Town

Came here to celebrate early Mother's Day with parents. Even before finishing our 2nd drinks, while my parents went to the restroom, the waitress came over to ask to settle the bill. When I asked why need to settle the bill so soon, waitress lied and said "Oh we are settling all the tables bills right now", but only I was asked to settle the bill. Definitely afraid that I would run without paying. Thought I no money because I bring my parents is it? So obvious the discrimination. But is Mother's Day and don't want to make a fuss, so I still settled the bill. Then after finishing our 2nd drinks and planning to leave, waiter still came to ask us to add order, purposefully trying to make us angry is it?

Food is overpriced, and don't order the cocktails, shortchange on the alcohol content and not even using fresh lime juice for Mojito nor fresh lemon juice for Long Island Ice Tea, yet costing RM35 each. Sneaky price for Tiger draught too, RM15 for half pint glass, RM75 for a set of 5 half-pint glasses, no price difference per glass but yet waitress recommended a set to "save money". Should have left before ordering anything, obviously just trying to scam...

I actually had no intention to leave a review. But, because of the experience that I faced. I really want you to learn a lesson. Went there with my wife and 1 kid. I have spent closed to Rm300. My pizza order was missed out after 45mins been waiting. If I didn't ask the waiter, they were not realised. Ended up, my kid waited for 1 hour to get his pizza. We had no intention to make any complaint as we do not want to spoil our dinner. Suddenly, manager came and asked how was everything, we given our feedback about the pizza. The manager said will make some adjustment on the bill. Honestly,we also didn't want to border. To my surprised, an anjustment of 5% of the pizza that priced at rm25.50, was a real embarrassment. I rather you don't give at all and give me an apology sorry statement. My parking charges rm5.50 was way higher than the gesture of goodwill that you offered to me. If you sincere with your mistake, pls offer something reasonable. This kind of offer was really...

Generally I highly recommend this place to families and friends to chill out...with lively rock band performance... This is even good for a person to enjoy food, drinks, sea breeze and live bands simultaneously. Based on 2 dishes, the tasty is good (above average). Their lively band is enjoying especially their drum sound. Their waiters' service is on average. Why it wasn't above average? We waited for the food for 40 mins and after we followed up with 2 waiters/waitress at different times...and no proper response...until our food arrives...I asked 3rd time and they said there were 20 dishes chef need to cook. They should have keep customers informed and not left in the dark. Improvement Area for next higher level of customers satisfaction -

1. Bring up waiters and waitresses in know how to serve customers especially when it is crowded
2. Widen their draught beers and to include popular brands such as 1664, etc. They only have 3 choices (2 dark...
