Dandy @ Queensbay Mall (Halal) — Restaurant in George Town

Experienced a tremendously awful service from staffs. Me and my other 3 friends went there on 20th November 2021 at around 8.20pm. We wanted to sit outside but one of the male staff told my friend that there were no place available since as we need to sit according to the SOP. We understand and we were fine with it but what's not fine is when we look around and ALL the other customers DO NOT sit according to the SOP like we were told to and all staff never takes action. Kalau nak ikut SOP, make sure you apply the rules untuk semua orang. Be fair and square dan bukan pilih-pilih ya.

Secondly, we were told by the same male staff we have to order by 8.30pm because last call is 8.30pm. Surprisingly there were still other customers who came after 8.30pm and they still accept orders. We see it clearly that the other customer walked in and don't reserve or so whatever so.. ?????

Not to mention that almost ALL staffs have been looking at us ever since we stepped into the restaurant UNTIL we went out and that has made us feel uneasy and uncomfortable because it was so OBVIOUS. Especially the female barista, a girl who took our order and the male staff. The male staff even mocks my friends by acting childing and stupid when my friends asked for sauce because their Tuna Pizza was tasteless and dry.

Never coming again and will never recommend to...

Honest review:

i have no idea how people would still go to this place . i have heard alot of my friends that the food was bad . at first i thought to myself of how bad can it be ? so i end up trying out myself today with me family . and they were right . first impression from the waiters are not really friendly with their frowning looking eyes but i wasnt expecting much . and then i saw the tables and it is like some foodcourt cheap chairs. from the outside the place looks nice , but if you look closely its not.i assume they cut their cost with the tables and chairs.

moving on with the food where i took the ‘Mighty burger’ which ended up the dryiest burger i have ever tasted . it is absolutely Tasteless. i would say the burger ramlee tepi jalan is better.

so i still gave a chance where my partner took mushroom soup and lamb rice something which is not bad and i was able to eat it and as well the mushroom i did not expect much . probably just a regular campbell soup with garlic bread.

my sister took the ribeye . which is chewy and nothing to expect much since it was just 40 ringgit and also the fries was terrible .

in conclusion , this will be my first and last time to go here . no hate , maybe some other people have different taste and also maybe other foods are better but this...

✨ Company Dinner at @dandymodernfood Queensbay 160825✨

We recently arranged our company dinner and for the first time, we chose Dandy at Queensbay. Honestly, I had a few concerns at first — mainly how they would handle a big crowd like us, and whether the space and food service would meet expectations.

So, I visited the outlet a day before and met their restaurant captain (I wish I remembered his name!) — such a humble and helpful guy. He explained everything clearly and assured us the table setup would be as per our request.

💥 Fast forward to the actual dinner — we were impressed! The table arrangements were spot on, they even printed menus and labelled tables with our staff names. Everything was super organised, with no confusion at all.

Special thanks to Irfan, who took such good care of us that night. He guided us, made sure all meals were served hot and on time. Truly excellent service — no room for complaints!

🍽️ Big portions, delicious food, great ambiance, and an amazing team behind it all. My boss and all staff were really happy to gather again in such a nice place.
