The most famous Mee Suah Tao in Penang was the most delicious noodle. The Tu Kar Noodle (Pork Leg) is no longer in the menu. But lately, all the noodles are pretty tasteless and bland. The cook or chef has remained the same, but regretfully, the cooking skill or taste or sauce has been skewed and is not being tasty and NOT aromatic anymore. Every dish of noodles was terrible, and it was like some other cook's cooking it, which we were hoping, but unfortunately, NOT. We ordered Mee Suar Tao, Hockkien Char, Ee Fu Mee Tar (Dried Ee Fu Mee Noodle), and Belachan Chicken. The notable dish we remained to love is the Fried Belachan Chicken. We still remained hopeful that the cook knew what went wrong and got back to basic and the wonderful taste of noodles it once served. They are back with delicious Wok Heah Noodles.
