Visited this store last night on 10/02/2024 at 12:15am after i saw you put a sticker of Extensions of Business Hour till 1am. The store was warm, the AC was already switched off at that hour. The staff seems not happy seeing customers coming in, no one greet, smile or even say thank you after the purchase. And the worst thing is, they didn’t accept online payments from eWallet & Cards. As they said it’s not working until 1am. Come on, I’m a merchant as well, so i know when and how long does the terminal will be down. But doing that, few customers left the store. For quick meet up or discussion, its an ideal place with good spacious seatings, indoor and outdoor. Not the mention the ease of getting parking in Gurney area which is quite notoriously difficult and for those who want to avoid parking in Malls along Gurney area. Best of all, its sea facing and this location is at the less busy stretch of Gurney Drive. Many coffee drinkers even bring along their pets as they relax at the outdoor section. We came here looking forward to trying the tiramisu, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. However, Wan, one of the staff members, gave us exceptional service that truly made our visit memorable. He suggested another cake with a warm and friendly attitude, and his recommendation was spot on! Wan is a great example of excellent customer service — polite, helpful, and genuinely kind.
