This place is so extremely overpriced and overrated. The cake is so expensive, RM18 for a slice I think it is the cost price of a whole cake, and it is so so small like the size of my palm! Spaghetti was bad. I bought the carbonara spaghetti for RM32 and it is so diluted, it lacks taste and the handmade pasta is so so only not worth it at all. Just because they serve handmade pasta they think they have the audacity to mark up the price and everyone just think it’s good cause it’s handmade and pricey. You can get better authentic Italian spaghetti from Via Pre with the same price and bigger portion. They also have this rule where every person have to purchase an order which is very ridiculous and what not they have to place this such notice at every corner of the cafe from the entrance to the main door to the menus and to every individual tables. If your meals are cheap and you force everyone to get one order still okay la but your food expensive af. So sad that you open a cafe just to see all your customers sharing food cause it’s too pricey and not worth it at all: Staff is not friendly, they did not greet us and did not even thank us as we leave just stared at us like we were some random passer-by. Pay 10% service tax but water self- service! What’s the point pay service tax when I still have to serve myself mind as well I pay the 10% service tax to myself. Hygiene of the cafe is also a concern, there were cheese stains on the fork. And the toilet is extremely nasty, so wet and dark. They did not bother to fix a new toilet as the toilet is the old traditional squatting toilet which you can only find in your great grandparents house. And the toilet has a strong pungent smell and you can smell it from your dining table, such an unpleasant experience. I will never return to this cafe and I urge everyone to open their eyes and stop promoting overpriced cafe that only cares about profit and disregard...
Read moreWill not return to this cafe again. Very bad service. Ordered creme bule burned cheesecake at the counter. The woman at the cashier displayed a poor attitude and failed to take the order for the cheesecake. When we inquired about the signature dish, she was impatient in her response. She also had no knowledge about whether matcha latte has caffeine in it or is purely just matcha when I inquired. She bluntly responded that this is matcha latte. In the end, she confirmed no espresso or coffee was added to it. We ordered pasta at 5:31 p.m., and she told us the kitchen opens at 6:00 p.m. We told her we could eat cake and have drinks first. Then, when our chicken bacon pasta came at 6:21 p.m., the waitress mistakenly gave it to another lady customer sitting beside us who came later than us. To our dismay, the waitress came back and noticed she had given the wrong food to the lady while she had already started eating it. The waitress, without proper manners, took the food away from the lady customer. The waitress also did not apologize to us for giving our food to another customer. 6. The cheesecake is moderate and the chicken bacon pasta only has two slices of chicken at the cost of rm30. 7. To be fair, the seafood pasta RM35 with three big prawns is reasonably priced. It should have been named prawn pasta instead because there are no other seafood items in it. Our total spending today is rm120...
Read moreRamen broth is soothin with a proper balanced feel and texture. It doesn't get overpowering with each slurp. Just remains balanced through and through.
Pairing it with garlic butter chicken rice, for the price and portion it's generous. The garlic butter sauce was not exactly God tier but it's proper and I'm happy and so much willing to pay for it. The scrambled egg doesn't go well with the sauce but that's just me on a sunny side up preference. The only shame is that between this and the ramen, for someone who's not so incline for ramen, I'll pick it over the butter chicken rice. Something about the broth.
But if there's a craving for rice. Go for the Garlic Butter chicken chop. Value and experience wise is superior than some other places. Food here caught us off guard. You'll be pleased for sure.
They take cash and TnG as payment.
Atmosphere is spacious. Comfortable place for conversation to take place.
Parking wise. Usually will park somewhere beside the end of the building lot. It's a normal landed taman residence.
Nearby area, Gurney plaza is a good spot to walk it off after some proper food here.
Regrets. Haven't eaten all the menu and their dessert yet. Always gravitate for their ramen and broth not steping aside making way for some of their aesthetic looking cake. Man it...
