Read moreWe tried to make reservations via calling the listed contact numbers but couldn’t reach anyone. We decided to take a risk of a long wait on a Friday night with 2 toddlers and thankfully, table was available when we arrived at 6:30pm
Service staff were very courteous and responsive which made us feel very comfortable. They immediately pointed us to the wifi pw details after we were seated telling us that mobile data reception wasn’t great in the area. This is the only one of 3 restaurants we visited in the area who took the initiative to tell us.
The decor is nice and tables have a designated space which adds up the comfort level. Restaurant appears to be relatively clean
Food wise: we ordered the pig stomach chicken soup which was a winner! The Pu’er tea was a good compliment with the soup. The prawn paste fried chicken, stir fried 藕笋,Spicy La La and XO sauce sotong were so-so
Overall dining experience was good. And we are sure we will be back again to try other dishes on their menu on another day. Pity that they do not serve dim sum anymore cos the pictures are very...
Read moreFrom my own experience, I find Golden Sands @ Eco Botanic to be a very pleasant place for dining, especially when I’m with family or friends. The restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere that feels welcoming the moment you step in, and I really like how spacious it is for group gatherings. Personally, I think their signature pork tripe chicken soup is the highlight, it’s rich, flavourful, and very comforting, almost like a homecooked dish. I also enjoyed their classic Chinese dishes especially sweet-and-sour pork, which came with a nice balance of flavours. The staff are usually attentive and polite, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable, although I did notice that service can be a little slow when the restaurant gets crowded. Overall, my impression of Golden Sands is positive, I see it as a reliable restaurant for good Chinese food in Eco Botanic, and it’s definitely a place I would recommend for family dinners or...
