Tea Garden near Sutera Mall has been a reliable favorite of mine, and it’s where I first discovered this cafe chain before trying their Malacca branch. This JB location consistently delivers what I look for in a cafe - a comfortable environment that works equally well for dining and getting work done.

The setup here is laptop-friendly with accessible power outlets at select seats, which makes it perfect for those longer work sessions when you need to stay plugged in. The space feels open and well-maintained, with effective air conditioning that keeps you comfortable even during JB’s warmer days. Most importantly, the WiFi connection is dependable, allowing me to work without interruptions.

What keeps me coming back is the consistent quality - the cleanliness standards are high, and the spacious layout means you’re not elbow-to-elbow with other customers. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a few hours of laptop work, the environment accommodates both needs well.

Having now experienced both this Sutera location and their Malacca branch, I can say Tea Garden maintains their standards across outlets. I had purchase the meal pass with my friend. And being told the delivery fee is RM5 within 8km. When I ordered food I received call an hour after my ordering and inform I have to pay RM7 for the delivery. I was asking “why I should pay for additional RM2 “,the staff told me is because they outsource the delivery to 3rd party. Fine because I don’t want to order another shop and wait again so I agreed to pay.But when I receive the receipt the delivery fee is RM5 and transaction fee RM2 (HOW COME?) I did call the shop on next day to check again.They said have to refer to management.okay I told the staff I wan to refund but After wait they feedback me company discussed with 3rd party delivery within 6km charge RM5 and additional rm1/km. The RM1 / RM2 not a BIG money, I know! But it should like a notification when we purchase the food thru ur internet platform!

Really disappointed for the kind...

Food: Yummy is on every little food we ordered and enjoyed! We even had the melaka style of chicken rice balls here.. we really finished up all the food ordered..

Service: Staff was very polite and helpful. One of the best eateries with local hospitality.

Atmosphere: We felt old school but in a modern setting. Probably due to the old type of food which is still comforting. As they say, these type of food becomes soul food. There is also cold food that can be warmed up, if u decide to purchase.

Additionally, do note parking is chargeable here. And its via a digital platform..
