I definitely think this is the new generation of kor lor mee. Taste wise, they are still not yet on par with the more established restaurants. However, with a bit more adjustment I'm quite sure they will get there. The chili is too watery hence, when I requested for the noodle to be spicer, they had to add alot more chili (refer to photo) The winter melon soup served is different than the usual soup served in the other restaurant. The wantan is even more interesting. This restaurant serves big size wantan the same size as chinese dumpling. The wantan taste pretty good. JD Wantan Mee also serves other types of noodles. She even came to our table to warn us when the parking inspector was out on the parking area to check if parking were paid. That was very nice of her to be concerned about customers dining in the restaurant! 5 stars for customer service.
The wantons were nicely stuffed and the Noodles were springy and cooked Al dente. Definitely good wantons and noodles but I have better.
