I definitely think this is the new generation of kor lor mee. Taste wise, they are still not yet on par with the more established restaurants. However, with a bit more adjustment I'm quite sure they will get there. The chili is too watery hence, when I requested for the noodle to be spicer, they had to add alot more chili (refer to photo) The winter melon soup served is different than the usual soup served in the other restaurant. The wantan is even more interesting. This restaurant serves big size wantan the same size as chinese dumpling. The wantan taste pretty good. JD Wantan Mee also serves other types of noodles. I have yet to try and will do so...

After trying, one will know how the simple ingredients and simple sources can bring up a high level of taste and satisfaction of the foods. We have a plate of original wanton noodle (black source, thin noodle) and a bowl of prawn dumpling soup. The noodle was cooked to perfection and tasted just like the old time wanton mee. The wantons that came with it were one of the best we ever had. Meaty and wrapped in a very thin skin, yet was not too soft that disintegrated as others. Decent priced noodles and fast service. The waitress taking out order was very nice and polite. She even came to our table to warn us when the parking inspector was out on the parking area to check if parking were paid. That was very nice of her to be concerned about customers dining in the restaurant! 5 stars for customer service.

The wantons were nicely stuffed and the Noodles were springy and cooked Al dente. Definitely good wantons and noodles but I have better.
