HanYuan DAILY 韓源 - Austin — Restaurant in Johor

The management of this place really need to use their ordering system at least once... I probably d*ed 7 times trying to send one order.

Ordered item no.100 kopi-o but on the ordering system its "coffee or tea" with no option to choose the former... So is it a mystery box?!?

Ordered 101 kopi but on the system its (101, 201, 2001,....,....) another mystery box item i guess?

Ordered toast with kaya but when i wanted to add to cart had to choose an option of add kaya (+1.60rm) or add butter (+1.60rm) does that mean the normal kaya toast comes without kaya?!?

Ordered chicken wrap and was given the option 1. More spicy 2. Less spicy. Chose more spicy but came not spicy at all...

Lastly ordered laksa and had the option "no prawns" but i wanted more prawns and there was no option. Had to remark "more prawns". Laksa came without prawns instead and when i asked the waiter said laksa has no prawns... So i can get prawn-less laksa with no prawns but i cant get prawn-less laksa with more prawns?!? Also when i was finished with the laksa i saw a blue plastic wrapper like object...

3:25pm Reached place

3:31pm Order chit displayed as order took in and keyed in system. Ordered three drinks and three main dishes.

3:44pm Asked waitress to check if our food is ready, replied with being prepared and will be ready in 5-10 minutes

3:53pm First main dish served

3:57pm Second main dish served, asked if third main was ready was replied with it being prepared. (meaning that our third main dish is being prepared after half an hour was keyed in.)

4:05pm finished everything as we were hungry while we waited for out food to be served.

Asked female person-in-charge what was the reason behind (was assuming if it’s due to system error or shortage in kitchen staff), but was replied that 煮炒 food need some time to prepare and it was pretty crowded so hope if we could understand.

But it was clearly not crowded that day. And everyone was clearly having tea and snacks only.

Overall, waiting time is way too long and we did not receive a...

We waited for a good 15 mins. We saw the wait staff running around. 3 wait staff cleaning me table. No one tended to us….long queue jammed the front door. There were several empty seats. We had to tell the staff at the front that there were seats. He just ignored us. We went in took the seat. Wipe the table ourselves n asked for the menu. It was a chaotic very disorganised front if the house. Wait staff must walk not run 🏃‍♀️. Too dangerous with so many people in the cafe and with the hot food the wait staff were carrying.

The fish sauce beehoon without fish sauce aroma. It was served with limau kasturi and it just overpowered the fish sauce. 👎🏻

We asked for 2 plates and were given baby...
