Keegan Irish Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Johor

We were recommended this place by Mr Ashwin whome we met the night before in another Irish bar a conversation was struck up about the best food we have tried whilst travelling in which it was said that the nicest indian food we have tried was in Thailand. Mr Ashwin then recommend this bar to our amusement it was an Irish bar serving authentic Indian food but he assured us it was the nicest indian food we would taste here in Malaysia and contacted his friend owner of the bar and restaurant Mr Magen to let him know we were coming to try his food. When we arrived we were greeted by the most attentive friendly staff with a table set for us. We weren't long seated before the food started coming and placed onto a banana leaf we had by far the most amazing dining experience we have ever experienced reguarding indian style cuisine. We were serve the most tender flavourful fish head curry with rice, sauteed vegetables, poppadom, sour paste, dried chillie and fried fish. Now I was a bit nervous trying the fish as I actually don't like fish the only fish I would eat would be fish fingers and when I tell you it was the nicest curry IV ever had I'm not exaggerating! We ate with our hands and with help of the server he explained what each ingredient brought to the dish and how to eat it! It was absolutely amazing from the first bite to the last and the servers ensured we had enough if everything by offering us more of each food as we ran low. One of the superb home cooked lunch in Jb every Friday , this is the place to be for an aauthentic home cooked food just like how mum cooks it , and the portion is so generous, you can eat till your heart content. Every week it's a different menu, so pls messgage them to find out the menu for the day and you will never be disappointed...
