Hidden gem in southkey area! Took quite awhile to find the exact lift up to the cafe, it can be rather confusing for first timer like me to find this cafe but it's definitely worthwhile! They sell almost everything with honey variations, i tried the napoleon chicken pizza and it's one of the best eaten so far. It's those thin pizza bread crust whereby it's not crispy in texture however the taste, sauce and combination of ingredients make it perfect and mouth watering. Usually when I eat pizza I would always topped it with chilli flakes, cheese, tobacco sauce etc... However this is one of the few times I eat it on its own! The honey latte is also quite smooth to drink with the light scent of honey which makes it unique. Another highly recommended is their cakes! I ordered take out on the signature honey layer and honey cheese mousse for father days and my whole family loves it! The cake is very unique in its own secret recipe which is hard to describe with words, i would only say it's mouth watering and definitely I'm heading back again to try more cakes. The honey cheese mousse is very lightly rich, the honey taste is light however the cheese is rich, it's the perfect combination of both added together. Definitely highly recommend you to eat the cakes with their coffee, it will be great for high tea.
Great atmosphere and place...
Read moreFor dessert, we visited Bee Hive—a place we both love and hate.
We hate:
The major downside is the parking situation; it was so difficult to find a spot that we had to seek alternatives nearby.
We love:
We ordered their signature items—the Honey Layer Cake and the Waffles with Honey & Butter.
First, the Honey Layer Cake offered a multi-textured experience. The texture was firm, with a surprising layer of crispiness and crunch hidden within. The sweetness was perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, which suited my preference. It was so enjoyable that we seriously considered ordering another slice, but since we had already eaten two meals before 11 AM, we decided to hold back.
Next was the waffles. While the waffles themselves were decent, the true highlight was the caramelised honeycomb. The first bite delivered a burst of sweetness, quickly followed by a slight bitterness, and ended with a lingering sweet aftertaste. I was genuinely impressed by the complex flavour profile. The honeycomb was also incredibly crunchy—definitely the star of the dish. If sold as a standalone snack online, it could very well go viral.
The server was friendly and great too👍🏿
A highly recommended dessert...

I stumbled upon the Bee Hive cafe, and it turned out to be an absolute gem! This honey haven not only boasts an Instagram-worthy aesthetic but offers an experience that goes beyond its charming appearance.
The service was as golden as their honey, with the staff being the stars! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the visit delightful by explaining their specialties with genuine enthusiasm.
The honey layered cake was a divine treat – just the right balance of sweetness and that delightful hint of honey accompanied by a delightful crunch. Although the honey chicken wings lacked the expected stickiness and honey glaze, the flavors didn't quite hit the usual mark.
However, the soba dishes were definite winners! So much so that we got a takeaway for dinner, and here's the cherry on top: the staff thoughtfully suggested separating the dressing and noodles, ensuring a fresh and flavorful meal upon reheating.
Despite the tiny hiccup with the chicken wings, the overall experience was buzz-worthy. I'm definitely returning to explore more delightful delicacies offered by the Bee Hive. 🍯🍽️"
