Laksa & Kopi 传统砂拉越美食 — Restaurant in Johor

Most of the menu's signature dishes stated about 15 to 20mins waiting time and because we went for lunch break on weekday, we prefer a lunch quickie meal. So we order something simple and also we did order their "thumb up" dish which is quite rare dish called manicai mee hun goreng. This particular dish doesn't have to wait 20mins though, to arrive. The taste kinda bland, doesn't have the aromatic appealing smell but luckily is not too dry. So, we have to add in some various seasonings available on every tables.

The meehoon kueh soup was above average. The soup is flavorful and lots of ingredients especially pork slices. But the noodles are caking (stick) to each other. Meaning, when preparing in the kitchen, the cook did not disperse the mee hun kueh properly hence biting 2-3 layers of meehun...

Had quick lunch here, ordered their speciality Sarawak Laksa. Is nice n flavourful, but not sure is it l added too much sambal chilli the soup turn out salty. Other than that lots of ingredient including 2 fresh nicely peeled prawn, lots of slices chicken meat, bean sprout, one big omelette. If not bcoz of the saltiness l could hv given a 4 star. The food is decent, and surprisingly, there was less crowd during Saturday dinner time. Portions are generous and worth the price. It’s best to share with friends, as the flavors are quite strong and may be overwhelming to finish alone. Great music adds to the atmosphere.
