Morihana Pastry — Restaurant in Johor

This cafe was recommended by some websites when I was looking for nice cakes to celebrate a friend's birthday.

It is located at Eco Spring. There are several other restaurants there. The cakes are quite good. Not over sweet. Other than tasting good. The cakes look cute too. Really like the Teddy Bear, since it has chocolate mousse and coffee in there. But do note some of their cakes do contain alcohol. The cafe is not too big but it is quite cosy. Simple but nice.

We were there at about 2pm on a Friday and there was hardly anyone. It is a nice place to chill and have cakes. But I would imagine Eco Spring would be a nicer place to visit at night. There is nothing much there to do other than some restaurants. The interesting thing also is that the cafe do accept PayNow payment for...

Came on a weekday afternoon and the place was surprisingly quite full. Most people looked like they came to work from a cafe or have a work meeting. Thankfully there were still empty seats at the sofa for people who came to relax.

The selection of cakes was superb and everything looked amazing. The staff was patient in describing the cake and providing recommendations which was much appreciated.

I went with the rose watermelon cake as well as the Fuji cake. At 20RM per cake, I felt that it was well worth. Presentation, taste and textures of both cakes were excellent. Looks Pretty but tastes defeat 🫣

We had their 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲 (𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲) 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 that is filled with Caramel Apple and Lime Apple Mousse however it was dry and fell apart, decent in taste.

The 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 did not fair very well too, wasn't tasty. It was said to be filled with White Peach Fruit, Peach Liqueur and Oolong Tea Cookie but even the smell and taste of the peach were super mild.

The only saving grace was the 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮 🍑 that came with a jug and the 𝗨𝗷𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 🍵

It is about a 30-45mins drive from JB customs but there is nothing much to do here 😆

I mean if you wanna come at least once to Eco Spring to look see can but do not expect much ah.
