Read moreWhat a beautiful restaurant, very crowded during holidays period, especially 华阳 The Oriental Kopi at the basement being so popular and long queue, many customers like us finding good Chinese restaurants from basement til the highest floor here.
Honestly, I'm shocked to see such 2.8 low review marks here. Fortunately, food quality was not that bad as expected, especially loved the CharSiew Noodle, CharSiew meats was so delicious, very well done, balance fat and lean meat, strong barbecue char-grill flavours. Noodle is thin, great base sauce and strong flavours. Loved it.
Another dish was their signature Ipoh seafood chicken Hor-fun, the soup base was sweet, clear and tasty. Prawns is big, fresh and delicious.
Two drinks we ordered, the ice Ipoh white coffee was good with great aroma, and less sweet option is good. Soya bean with glass jelly is not bad too.
Overall price range is more on the high range, especially for locals. As we compare to the popular one at the basement, probably this Nam Heong is not worth it, and their location was not so convenient, far from main floor.
I do recommended if you have no other selections. A simple traditional meal is still worth a try.
