Absolutely loved the vibe here! Jazzy music fills the air in this swanky loft space, blending woody and industrial design elements. Super coooooool atmosphere!
Food-wise, the menu isn’t extensive, but what they do serve is done well—and that’s what counts. I went with the classic matcha (available hot or cold, your pick!) and explored the standard coffee menu. I opted for the White House Blend (double shot), and it was really gooooooood!
Here’s what we had: White House Blend Double Shot – RM15 Smooth and robust, with a deep, satisfying flavor. Great pick-me-up! Strawberry Tart – RM28 A luscious custard base with chocolate chips, topped with five whole strawberries. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Strawberry Shortcake – RM16 Light, fluffy, and perfect for the afternoon. With strawberries in season, this was a must-try—and it didn’t disappoint! Chocolate Chip Cookie – RM10 Thick, chewy, and packed with chocolatey goodness. A rich, indulgent pairing with coffee. Yum!
Big thanks to the chef and barista for making it such a memorable afternoon. I’ll...
Read moreWhat a lovely hidden gem in the Mount Austin area! I was genuinely surprised to find such a peaceful and beautifully designed café just a short drive from home. Podd Cafe offers a relaxing atmosphere with minimalist interiors, plenty of natural light, and calming lake views that make it perfect for a slow afternoon.
We ordered the Caramel Tea, Hojicha Tea, Strawberry Shortcake, and Pistachio Cheesecake. The caramel tea was light and aromatic, while the hojicha had that comforting roasted flavour — both served in beautiful teapots that added a nice touch to the experience.
The strawberry shortcake was soft, not overly sweet, and packed with fresh strawberries — a classic done right. But the highlight for me was the pistachio cheesecake: creamy, rich, and nutty with just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommended!
Whether you’re here to catch up with friends, enjoy some quiet time, or just treat yourself to good dessert and tea, Podd Cafe is definitely worth a visit. I’m so glad a spot like this exists so...
Read moreOur first coffee spot of this trip, and was treated to an assortment of cakes atop the very decent coffee.
☕ they don’t carry a huge selection of coffee, and hence we opted for our standard pairing of mocha and latte to try out a varied option. Latte was fairly fragrant, not too milky as well. Mocha was heavy on chocolate, definitely one for those who aren’t too used to coffee or had one too many for the day 😊
🍰 starting out with the pistachio cheese cake, we gradually bought ourselves a slice of lemon variant and then a strawberry one, ending the day with 5 desserts in total (including a waffle too!). The crowd favourite was the lemon one, which was the one we chose!
There’s a huge table for 8 at the mezzanine level which fits us just nice, they do take some time to make the drinks when there’s only one of them at the counter so do be forgiving if it takes awhile when they are...
