First of all The drive way into this place at night is absolute unpleasant Dark and unclear road sign Driving near the restaurants you’re expected to park at road side as no proper carpark However once you’re at the store front you will be greeted politely and they will check if you have a reservation Best to call ahead before you come If you’re eyeing at private room minimum spending is rm500 Then they will greet you with a flower tea Taste awesome and refreshing Then proceed with choosing your soups 3 flavours in one bowl is mostly recommended Collagen soup, mala soup and mushroom soup are my choices Gotta say this for real Their soup is absolutely genuine Unlike all other chain Their soup is something worth coming back for And their snacks and meats are rather bigger in serving portion compare to others Paid rm200 for all you’re seeing in these photos for 2 pax is really worthwhile Staff are helpful and passionate including the foreign workers are polite They have live band performing in the restaurant You can say it’s lively but this is really not a bistro Their sound circulation design is poorly done so it’s really loud I mean if we are drinking beer and eating fries for drinking night it’s fine But this is really a family food so the busking and sounds including some with children and baby crying The mixture of all that sounds can really bring your mood down Don’t get me wrong Food - awesome Price & State - awesome Driveway & carpark - absolute horrible Sounds circulation - horrible like max Maybe private room will minus off the sound issues and better dining experience (I hope) I will still come back for their soup Regardless of all the drawbacks

Was expecting more looking at all the positive reviews. The soup was underwhelming- we went with 3 flavours of mala (natural spice), sour cabbage (duck) and mushroom soup. Basically they all it had 1 single taste..salty. There was 0 layers of umami taste. Pig’s blood was not fresh (powdery texture with strong smell), and even the free ice cream wasn’t good. (Tasted unnatural and watered down🤔) Commendable food was the fresh duck intestine and duck blood. The fresh bull frog was the best, and we enjoyed the glutinous brown sugar cake as well. Overall summary: If you are going to travel all the way here for hotpot, then it’s not worth it. Not especially for the price!!! (Maybe their bbq or cooked items will be better!)

I was hoping to find a good hotpot restaurant near R&F and came across this one with many positive reviews. I anticipated it would be a pleasant dining experience based on those reviews. The restaurant is rather smoky so your clothing may retain an unpleasant odor after dining here. We ordered a mixed broth of two soup bases. I feel their soup bases are quite blend just base on the two soup bases we ordered. Meat are still quite fresh but nothing really special. Service was good and dishes are served quite fast as well.

First of all The drive way into this place at night is absolute unpleasant Dark and unclear road sign Driving near the restaurants you’re expected to park at road side as no proper carpark

However once you’re at the store front you will be greeted politely and they will check if you have a reservation Best to call ahead before you come

If you’re eyeing at private room minimum spending is rm500

Then they will greet you with a flower tea Taste awesome and refreshing

Then proceed with choosing your soups 3 flavours in one bowl is mostly recommended Collagen soup, mala soup and mushroom soup are my choices

Gotta say this for real Their soup is absolutely genuine Unlike all other chain Their soup is something worth coming back for

And their snacks and meats are rather bigger in serving portion compare to others

Paid rm200 for all you’re seeing in these photos for 2 pax is really worthwhile Staff are helpful and passionate including the foreign workers are polite

They have live band performing in the restaurant You can say it’s lively but this is really not a bistro Their sound circulation design is poorly done so it’s really loud

I mean if we are drinking beer and eating fries for drinking night it’s fine But this is really a family food so the busking and sounds including some with children and baby crying The mixture of all that sounds can really bring your mood down

Don’t get me wrong Food - awesome Price & State - awesome Driveway & carpark - absolute horrible Sounds circulation - horrible like max

Maybe private room will minus off the sound issues and better dining experience (I hope)

I will still come back for their soup Regardless of all...

I’ve been here many many times and today is the most crowded. However, it does not mean the service is compromised. Instead, surprisingly the staff were all exceptionally forthcoming and kind and helpful and we received the best dining experience and service. When we arrived, we were carrying a lot of food items. The staff offered to help us store perishable items in the fridge. As we were seated, we were also given a lucky draw box for a free dish. Then there was also the 变脸performance which was a hit amongst diners. After the meal, we were given a very refreshing green apple kiwi slushie which we enjoyed thoroughly. We are so happy to see the restaurant doing so many new initiatives, and the staff tonight (22nd Nov 2023 9pm-11pm) were the best ever and a lot of times they anticipated our needs at the perfect timing. They also went above and beyond in small details such as offering to change my tea cup when he saw it had a layer of oil around it. I have nothing but raving praises for every service crew working tonight. Even the kitchen staff were fabulous. The hot pot base tasted AMAZING tonight, even better than my previous visits. The spicy taste was on point and brought me right back to the hotpot restaurants of Si Chuan.

Thank you everyone for your hard work tonight. My sister and I absolutely enjoyed every moment...

Service really needs improvement, especially from the lady at the front counter. Her attitude felt unfriendly and even discriminatory. We ordered mala xiang guo and wanted condiments, we told the lady abt willing to pay if needed. And she only said 'Nonono cannot take it'. Later we asked another staff and he said it was okay, can take. So we go take and she came again to us and cannot take but we put condiments already. So she said abt she will give it for free. And she walked pass nearby me and she said 'You cannot take the condiments alot' and go say my husband about she will charge 6rm for condiments and also commented not to take much. This inconsistent and unfriendly attitude left us feeling mistreated as customers. Food was average, but the screwers there are nice but service made us...
