BAD customer experience especially during payment at counter. And this is a repeated matter.
They advertised that they have a promotion (spend RM50 & more and get 1 pink plate free), but everytime I wanna claim that, I always end up with frustration. First I saw the ads, I asked the counter & during payment, they deducted the amount for 1 pink plate for a few of my visits to the restaurant. However, sometimes when I expected the worker to know already and apply the promo, they didn’t and just proceeded to the payment, and when I looked at my receipt, just then I realized no amount was deducted. When I asked the counter back, they said “Oh sorry I forgot about the promo. There’s nothing could be done bcause payment have been made. Next time please.” Just like that with NO APOLOGIES from them. Some of the workers don’t even know that the promo exist to the extent that we as a customer have to show them the advertisement and they will be like “Ooo there’s such promo here aa ok2”.
Recently, I wanted to claim for it but then have to debate with the worker bcause at first she said I didn’t order any pink plate so she cannot deduct. I said I ordered pink plate already but the restaurant delivered it using a long-black plate with other sushi I ordered, so not my fault if the pink plate was not actually present on my table even though I ordered one. Then she said oh sorry actually we changed our system already so cannot deduct from payment, only can get another 1 pink plate take out. I’m ok with the changes they made but I just think that “Can you guys be more clear about your promos next time?? State and write clearly what the customer will get so the customer will know, especially if you made changes on your policy.” Bcause at first you said cannot deduct from payment bcause no pink plate ordered, but then you said cannot deduct bcause already changed system??? Which one??
They are not clear about what they’re promoting, and if you forgot to remind their workers during payment, it will not be their worker’s fault but your fault for not reminding them. Having to debate with the workers everytime I want to claim for the promo was such a bad experience. It’s like we as a customer have TO BEG to them if we want it, but even if you do, not surely you will get because they will swing their words as much as they can and you’ll just end up getting frustrated and want to leave quickly and forget the promo.
To the restaurant, hope you can give your customers better experience next time. State clearly what you offer and be more transparent please. If you want to give the promo, just give. But if you don’t want to give, don’t even advertise please. It ruined our...
Read moreI usually love to eat here. The food WAS great, the service WAS great. Until recently they changed the manager to the tall chubby guy. He is sooo unprofessional and needed to be trained soo bad. He doesn't know how to treat customer and disrespect his colleagues. Last time I went was on 16nov2021. So if the manager read this, you know who.
Let me tell you some of the experiences. When you come into the restaurant expect him to give you orders, like makcik kepoh in sekolah ask you straightly to do someting, just not you should talk to customers. When he come after u call, he will come and say like "nak ape?" With a straight face. He also have LOUD VOICE so expect the whole place to know your problem. I also spotted him being angry and yell across the restaurant to tell his colleagues to do something. For example, one time he yell "Hei (call out 3 of his colleagues name), kau duduk rapat2 da nape xde kerja ke?" I think this is so unprofessional to show weakness to customers and to show power among colleagues. I went here 2 times after he was assigned, my family and I did not like the vibe here anymore.
I wish u can give him enough training or just move him to other section that is not related to customers. He doesnt know what the customers want, doesnt know how to treat them, doest know how to respect them, doesnt know how to trained the colleagues. He just wasnt the one to be in the front desk handling people. Currently have kedai mamak vibe when you come here now where people angry and yelling across the room. Not the vibe Im looking for restaurant that have good reputation. Different from previous manager which is kind, understanding and...
Read moreMy recent visit to this sushi restaurant was profoundly disappointing, primarily due to the unwelcoming and unfriendly demeanor of the staff. From the moment we entered, no one greeted us, and there was an evident lack of courtesy throughout our meal. We had to wait an unusually long time before anyone attended to our table, and even at the cashier, there was no acknowledgment or smile.
The food itself was another letdown. The soba noodles were overly wet and lacked essential condiments like radish and spring onions. The soy sauce seemed watered down and lacked the depth of flavor expected in a Japanese restaurant. The Dragon Mentai sushi was particularly disappointing — the rice was poorly formed, the salmon slice on top was thin and flimsy, and the shrimp tempura in the middle was soggy and unappetizing.
The salmon belly sushi was served at room temperature, which I found unacceptable for such a delicate and fresh cut of fish. It was slimy and lacked the proper care one would expect to maintain its quality.
Overall, the combination of subpar food quality and dismal customer service made this dining experience one to forget. It's unfortunate because for the price charged, one would anticipate both exceptional food and respectful service in a sushi establishment. This visit will undoubtedly be our first and last, as there are clearly significant improvements needed to compete in the sushi...
