The most terrible dinner experience with my wife. Mostly different from reviews in Tiktok. Be careful.
8:16pm - Queue (first in line) 8:34pm - Waitress start attending customers.
The first 18 minutes of waiting, there's 1 waitress (without spectacles) walking around nearby the customer queue but there was no initiation from her even though customers made eye contact with her. There were 2 waitress and 1 waiter, but only 1 waitress (with spectacles) that serve customers from attending outside to taking orders. Once seated, we felt bad when I saw she went and took the order from other table (a small family behind us in queue) first. Even though she attended us after, it's still unfair for us as we waited longer and we were so hungry! Kinda unfortunate for us.
The waitress (without spectacles) who delivered the food was good because she said the name of the food while putting the plate on the table, but the waiter who delivered our last plate didn't even say hi!
Foods and drinks review:
Delivery order: Drinks arrived when fries were eaten half or finished (can't remember). My spaghetti carbonara arrived after fries were finished. My lamb rack arrived (spaghetti were eaten half). My wife's salmon linguine arrived when my spaghetti was finished and lamb rack was almost finished.
Taste, portion and price: Fries, drinks and carbonara was ok. Price and portion was ok too. Lamb rack was requested well done but received medium (refer uploaded picture). It's lucky because I can eat medium, what if the other customer who receive this kind of service couldn't eat medium? Must be careful. The portion was ok and the price will be ok if the customer is happy. Salmon linguine, wife said it was as sweet as drinks! She ate 2 bites and said can't proceed to finish it, feels like vomiting. The salmon also tasted a bit fishy. I took some bite of the salmon linguine, and it's true what my wife said. The fishy taste was coming from skin and the fillet was dry. The price and portion was ok, but not edible for us.
As a conclusion, it was not worth for us to travel more than 40km (1 way) passed through multiple highways and tolls to get these kind of foods and services. Definitely will NEVER come here again. I can say it's a horrible experience for us, I guess... 😂
Thank you for reading my review and be careful.
P.s. once arrived home, my wife requested me to cook instant noodles for her. Lucky she said it was good. Travelled more than 80km just for her to be extra hungry and eat at...

This restaurant is located inside UnionSquare, which consists of Bangi Avenue Convention Centre and Avenue Garden Hotel. It's not really a hot spot for food hunters, no heavy traffic around, not yet at least. You can park your vehicle there, after you check in with TnG, free for the first hour, RM1 for the subsequent hours. I had quite a remarkable experience there.
My family and I had dinner there. I decided to give a try to its quarter roasted chicken, while my family ordered smoked duck, lamb shoulder, and grilled chicken chop. Speaking of the food and menu, the appearances were quite decent. The chicken was tender enough while the roasted skin with some crispy-ness. I loved it. The fries were also fresh and well fried. I had a try on the lamb shoulder, it wasn't well cooked, with some (little) rawness in it, making it a bit difficult to be cut and chewed.
Let's talk about the price. I think their pricing is not expensive, it's pretty reasonable. With less than RM20 (pre taxes and charges), you can enjoy a grilled chicken chop. The prices of the beverages were not aggressively marked up like some other western restaurants, with a chilled coke with a cup of ice cubes selling at pre-tax RM2.50.
Regarding their services, you need to know that the majority of the F&B businesses on the same row are owned by the same company. Therefore, their products are actually interconnected. So when you check their e-menu, you can see that the items of other outlets are there too, the ice cream, Arab cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, etc, and you can order them all in one bill, making it sort of like a "high-class" hawker centre. The manager was a very friendly Malay, always available and answerable to help out the customers. Customers have the option of indoor and outdoor sitting. I would recommend outdoor sitting especially during the night. Beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor area is available for a party or gathering I think, there are facilities like a small stage, sound system, and plenty of tables. You may call the manager for further enquiries.
Overall, it was an enjoyable moment for me, and I would love to visit the...
Read moreNice place to have dinner on special occasions. The price is quite pricey, but the portion is appropriate. Definitely money worth in terms of price, portion, and flavour. I personally recommend dishes with ducks in them or burgers. Ducks because they do it well and ducks are not commonly served in BSP, and the burgers are just that good. I've yet to be disappointed by their burgers. Atmosphere is 4/5 because it's too cold lol
Carbonara smoked duck. You can't go wrong with duck here at tendance. They also have duck tacos and i think duck burgers. My personal recommendation since not many place serves duck. The pasta portion is perfect. It is definitely enough for most customers.
1/4 peri chicken rice. Rice was fragrant and flavourful, chicken was good, and the corn could use a pinch of salt. Nacho chips feels out of place in this meal, though.
Cheezy chicken wonder. I personally don't find it that cheezy, but the chicken was nice and crispy, juicy, and flavourful. The caramelized onions was really sweet and tasty. Large portion that includes coleslaw and fries.
Goat father burger. Lamb burger. The burgers here are generally great. large burgers, flavourful patties, fresh veggies, and large fries. I've yet to be disappointed by their burgers.
Steak carbonara. Similar to the smoked duck pasta but is beef instead. Really tasty. It's chewy enough that it still feels like eating beef, without needing to chew for long. Meat is a bit sweeter than...
