I booked for Iftar and it was quite disappointing for me. The service and atmosphere there was nice but the food is a turn down.
I ordered Chicken Chop, Creamy Pesto and Kamheong Fried Rice and Stuffed Pita (Beef). The Chicken Chop priced at RM26.90, with a cold fries (feel like it was fried since afternoon) on the side and cold fried chicken (too oily but still can be tolerate). Next, the Kamheong Fried Rice with Chicken Breast. The fried was okay but the chicken breast was cold and dry, really dry which makes it too hard to chew on. Please make sure to stir fry the chicken breast for not too long. Next, the Creamy Pesto. I would say if you want to satisfy your crave, creamy pesto from THFC Bangi is not the one I would recommend. The reasons are because it’s too oily and too empty (no small cuts of chicken, only mushrooms and few sweet tomatoes), I ordered with Minced Beef but the portion for the beef is just too little. Next, the Stuffed Pita. I ordered the Pita with Beef in it, but the one I got was with Mushrooms, no beef. Another thing is, on the menu it showed there are 3 pitas’. I only got one. Quite disappointing because I was going there with my family of 3.
I don’t want to get into drinks because it’s horrible with the pricing and the quality of the drinks doesn’t match up. That’s the only thing I can say about the drinks. I ordered Strawberry Lychee, Matcha Latte and Iced Chocolate.
There’s another thing that caught my eye is the pricing from the e-menu and the one showed at the screen, especially for my Creamy Pesto Pasta. On the e-menu, for Small poriton it’s RM14.90 and Large for RM20.90, but on the screen, for Creamy Pesto Pasta is for RM17.90. So, which one I should follow? This could lead to misunderstandings between consumers and the restaurant. Do check your menu and make sure it’s the same showed on the screen.
Total price I paid is RM115. So it’s quite expensive for 3. But maybe due to the location of the restaurant, still can be tolerate.
Would I recommend to my friends about this franchise? No, I won’t.
I hope there’ll be improvements from the restaurant regarding this issues stated.
I’ll come again next time, InsyaAllah.

Read moreWe ordered pesto & carbonara. Previously we had both meals at The Humble Company at Shah Alam branch. That was the first time we in THFC, everything was so good that we decided to try Bangi branch as it is nearer to home. Although it same company, it has different taste for both meals. CreamyPesto: Sauce was not creamy, bland taste. Chicken breast was good and properly cooked. Carbonara (Beef): Bland, not creamy, the sauce didnt cling to the pasta. Last time at THFC shah alam, the carbonara was creamy and cheesy as well. Matcha latte: average, was hoping using the ceremonial grade one but its not. But its okay.
Its dissapointing to know the meal in Bangi branch not having the same taste like Shah Alam branch. nevertheless, will we repeat? Yes for shah alam! May the owner receive this review with...
