Ayam Bakar Wong Solo @Bangi — Restaurant in Kajang Municipal Council

First of all i want to share, me and my Family before this around 2007-2012 we always eat at this restaurant(that time the taste very2 delicious) but after a long time we didn't eat together at this restaurant. yesterday which is 7/4/2025 we eat at this branch.

1. comment about Food : The Taste of spicy At All Sambal its not spicy:(. (sambal kicap,belacan,penyet and hijau majority too SWEET) and The food tastes a bit bland. All my family say this is our last time to eat at this at this restaurant. not just 1 or 2 but all say the same. never wanted to repeat again!!

2. comment about Price : We order 5 set but all dont have Sambal except Set Ayam Penyek (just put only a little bit) if we want Sambal Have to ADD ON MONEY to get the sambal.Doesn't make sense!!! OVERPRICE for me. (if pricey then the food good maybe i okay but the taste very bad and the price too expensive).. Not Worth it!!!!

3. comment about Service : this one also Doesn't make sense!!! (it took a long time around 30-45min to get the food). Ordering at the counter is not the problem but the issue is why no one delivers? Where is the waiter or waitress? why do customers have to pick it up themselves? Even if they order a lot, do customers have to pick it up?

Majority we didn't finish all the food so we decided just give it to the street cats :) ... Lastly want to say all my family very disappointed because we fasting but the food not tasty (tasteless).. Before this was Good but for now nahhhhh No...

Maybe it’s time to stop coming to this place. I’ve been coming here for like 3-4 years. Maybe they’re too comfortable with people coming that they keep downgrading their operation.

Coming here feels like begging for food even though you’re paying them quite a price.

The waiting time is absurd, and if you observe most of the staff, they chat and take their sweet time. I have no issue with how they work if they’re efficient. But this, this is the comfort level when people keep coming to your place.

If you think that’s okay, I’m good. I’ll just have my water while waiting for my food. Forget about it, they don’t even care to prepare your drinks first. You’ll wait dry with nothing. 20-30 mins is normal to them. What can you do? Complain? Write a bad review on Google like I did? They don’t care.

You paid service tax, but for what? Orders at the counter, you pick up your order by yourself. Why am I paying service tax again?

The quality of food and service at this outlet has shown dramatic decline since I last ate there :(

The chicken was obviously prepared and cooked in big batches and not upon order. So when it comes to you, literally everything on the plate is cold, save for the slightly warm rice. Was most disappointed with the chicken.

To save cost (maybe?), they packed the sambal and kicap manis in packets which were not labelled and difficult to open. They should just stick to having bottles of the sambal and kicap on the table.

Tempe and tauhu were also quite thin and meh, and perhaps have been re-fried, so the original tastes were lost, and became tasteless.
