The Wood's — Restaurant in Kedah

The worst restaurant in my entire trip to Langkawi. Basically this place perhaps is only good to have a drink as the food was terrible. Considering the restaurant was preparing indian,Chinese ,Thai and western i should have expected the subpar food. I order biryani rice and they tried to push off white rice as biryani and lol the paneer butter masala has powdered paneer? Apparently Malaysia doesn't have any paneer cubes LOL. Giving lame excuses to cover up the deficiencies is not acceptable. If it wasn't for our server a Indian guy who was really pleasant I would have walked off ! Avoid this...

Awesome place for those who are seeking for drinks with slow music, less crowd, and cheap drinks. The bar includes a pool table and 2 dart boards. That's the main activity in here. Occasionally, you can find a guy with a hat trying to please you with his singing skills. He's quite good though. You have a option of relaxing indoor or outdoor. The staffs are really friendly. At Woods, you can enjoy Chinese, Western food and Indian food. It's a no frills place where the emphasis is on the quality of food. Portion sizes are large and I would recommend the Wanton Noodle Soup from the Chinese menu and the Mix Combo grill from the other menus. The New Zealand steak was tender, the lamb chops succulent and the Chicken Tandoori was exquite.
