Western Burung Hantu — Restaurant in Kedah

Will not come back again.

1. I was actually excited to try out this place I recently found, but after I just sat down the staff came straight to ask me to give Google review, yes not to take order or anything but to ask me to give them 5 star reviews to get free fries and drinks. Even before I make any order they ask me to give review😅

2. the place is nicely lighted, I like the atmosphere.

3. they give the convenience to order from your table, that's a plus point.

4. I saw they serve deliver everyone else food to the table, but when it comes to my turn, the staff purposely walk all the way to my table just to tell me I need to collect my own food from the counter. Yes he walk over all the way from the counter just to tell me to collect my own food from the counter where he walked out from. I asked why did he served everyone else food but I have to collect my own order, the staff gave the excuse that all the staff are too busy at the time, when I got to the counter, except for the one preparing drinks, the rest of the staff was just sitting around talking not doing anything. So they purposely serve everyone else but make me collect my own food. I'm not sure, maybe all malay customer there get the service, then purposely make Chinese customers to collect their own food, why do they even bother to give the convenience of order from the table to begin with and trouble the customers later on.

5. the food was not worth the price, doesnt look like the pic, the food portion is way too small for the price, check out my picture, the chicken is smaller than my palm. the fries was cold, the chicken wasn't marinated properly, the drinks... taste so diluted that ice chocolate taste like water.

For a place that opens for so many years, bad service, bad food quality, not worth the...

The taste doesn’t match the price at all. The lamb grill was tough and not juicy, and the chicken chop was too oily. We spent over MYR 70, but still had to add MYR 2 just for extra black pepper sauce.

The tray liner should be changed to oil-resistant paper or something that doesn’t tear easily — it’s messy and not practical. Drinks took almost 45 minutes to arrive, even though the place wasn’t crowded. Service was slow. The lady preparing the drinks seemed stressed out as she was doing everything alone, and when we asked, her response was quite rude.

The Fiesta Grill we received didn’t come with ramen, coleslaw, or a hot dog as stated. Felt like we were being cheated. If this continues, it’s going to damage your reputation badly. Fat girls in the kitchen was rude also when we asking about the food that missing not in our order. Will not...
