The shop's location has a possibility to be missed at one glance by the trees around the shop. Now for the food. Dry chili chicken rice was a bomb ♥️ 10/10. Phadpet chicken rice was also really good 10/10. The price is very reasonable. Rice+chicken+egg+veges for RM 7.50 is really worth it. The drinks were also really good. Fresh 100% without added sugar. I also ordered sizzling curd bean which can be bought for 3 sizes S,M,L. I took the M size for RM 12. Big portion and the taste was really good 😋 10/10. As for the staffs, very charismatic which makes us feel welcomed. Kudos to the staff 👍🏾. Shop's ambience is really peaceful. A must visit shop.

We had lunch here a week ago, and as soon as we walked in, there was a mild smell of cockroaches. We were really hungry, so we assumed it might just be poor ventilation. The air conditioning was barely noticeable. We ordered the Kam Heong Chicken Rice and Black Pepper Chicken Rice sets—both were pretty average. We also tried the Salted Egg Mantis Prawn, which turned out to be a huge disappointment. The outside was crispy, but the inside was raw, and the smell was unpleasant. A quaint little restaurant tucked away in a corner of Alor Setar. There is a variety of food here and since the menu was so extensive it was impossible to try everything. Food taste was decent and price affordable. The restaurant isn't huge hence space is limited. It is better to come early to avoid disappointment. What got me curious though is this restaurant halal?
