Food is good but not for solo diner.I come here and was welcome by staff wearing white outfit (so call the boss?) , i asked for table with aircond area for one person but he said not available and usher me at non aicond outside the restaurant.Thumbs down there. At the outside, i wanted to sit nearby plug point and shady area but he said the table there not for solo diner. So i just have to sit where he ask me to sit.Another thumbs down there.Make u feel discriminated as solo diner. But my heart was reconcile with this restaurant as one of the male staff with uniform who is very kind and helpful at serving me, find me table at the aircond area and help even carry my things during transfering table.I was annoyed at first by the strict unnecessary rule told by the white wearing shirt staff who is not so helpful and welcoming/lack hospitality, and also they put one big table ( pic attach-the empty table between me and the near end table is for social distancing ) lol we just need one metre apart why need one whole table to gap the inbetween table such a waste of space.Maybe restaurant owner need to look back at their arrangement and design it such so its more friendly towards solo diner.i love the restaurant ,clean toilet n the food its similar like old town cafe( my fav) but not the service n...
Read moreLove their meehon but it was my first time order their french toast. Got their french toast with peanut butter in it. Didnt mention there would be peanut in the menu description. Was kind enough to order another set and request for no peanut butter. Told the manager that they should mention the peanut butter content in their menus. Apparently according to their manager "all french toast contains peanut butter". Was wondering if i'm eating french toast wrong my whole life. Thankfully i didnt have peanut allergy or else i would be probably already in the hospital. The menu should mention peanut in the ingredients. Allergy is a serious condition. Your staff behaviour was worse. What an unacceptable excuse "all french toast contain peanut butter". No, original french toast does not contain peanut...
Read moreVery disappointing experience at Life Deli Alor Setar. My wife and I came early in the morning just as the shop opened. As soon as we stepped inside, we were rudely shouted at by a staff, telling us to stop and go out because there were supposedly people outside who were “coming in first.” However, those 5 people were just chatting near the entrance, not queuing or attempting to enter. What made it worse was that the shop was completely empty, plenty of seats available and no people at all. So why the need to shout at us and ask us to leave? If it was full house, we would understand, but this kind of treatment was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. My wife and I ended up leaving without even eating. Very rude and unwelcoming service. Totally not recommended, and we will...
