Embarking on a weekend getaway to Kota Bharu with my wife and friends, we decided to cap off the evening with a visit to Kedai Kopi Lama for a light night supper. Nestled in the heart of the city center, the café stands out prominently and is easily spotted from the main road. Ample parking spaces surround the café, enhancing accessibility.

Our order comprised a selection of beverages—Americano, Mint Tea, and Milo Beng. The Mint Tea stole the spotlight with its refreshing and well-balanced taste, boasting a delightful minty flavor without being overly sweet. For a light snack, we opted for cheese naan with minced beef sauce. While they were satisfactory, the prices were slightly on the higher side compared to other cafés in Kota Bharu.

The café's ambiance was cozy, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. Despite the slightly elevated prices, the overall experience was pleasant, and we left with contented spirits. Kedai Kopi Lama is a suitable choice for those seeking a laid-back atmosphere and refreshing beverages in the heart...

Ambience wise: Very aesthetic with old kopitiam style cafe vibe. It's pretty, instagram pic worthy. However when it's raining, there's no shades to take cover and the second story is not very old-people friendly.

Drink wise: I ordered vietnamese coffee but the taste is very disappointing. Not like other vietnamese coffee franchises around Malaysia. It's strictly my opinion, maybe it's different to other people.

Food wise: First and foremost there's list of menus but only certain was available, but I do understand as I was here for dinner, maybe there's shortage on foods, idk?? And my best option is Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah. The portion does not match with the price, no taste of 'santan' in their rice and the sambal is just normal. However the chicken tasted good. This is all I can say.

one of the most happening spots in Kota Bharu, especially at night! this kopitiam is a go-to place for locals at night as it opens until late and serves many types of comfort kopitiam food such as kopi, teh, roti bakar and many more. there is also chicken chop, nasi lemak and yong tau foo here too. and all of the food and drinks here are good and delicious as well😃. i really like their nasi lemak and kopi malay which is very good. location-wise, this eatery is located at one of the main intersections at the historic heart of Kota Bharu old town. the ambience is so nice and comfortable, as they play soothing music and there are old-style murals as well, really brings you back in time to the olden days. seating is ample as well. price is all ok for the delicious food and drinks here. overall, very cool go-to place at night for me. should come and definitely...
