Texas Chicken AEON Bukit Tinggi — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

26 August I went to Texas to buy their shrimp burger combo, also spent RM0.20 for the plastic bag, I was very dissatisfied that my combo was having a shrimp burger + coke + frenchfries!

Texas Staff put the burger and frenchfries in a small bag for me, and then the coke was to be packed by myself, I clearly saw that they can seal the drink cups, why should they give me another one? I can see that they can seal the drink cups, why did they give me another one? Forget it, so I spent RM0.20 to buy a plastic bag just for burgers and fries? What is the purpose of buying a bag? Why would I pay for a plastic bag if I can take them all?

At that time, the texas staff did not apologize to me or anything, but just took a plastic bag to me and left, is this the quality of work of texas staff? I hope your company can improve this part, it's really disappointing.

Not often I would eat at fast food restaurants but Texas Chicken is one of those places which got me going back for more. Their original fried chicken is much better than KFC's original recipe fried chicken — less greasy and slightly crispier skin and lighter batter — love it!

And the unique selling proposition for Texas Chicken is really, their Southern biscuits and the jalapeño bombers, a variation of Jalapeño poppers you will often find in Tex-Mex restaurants in the US, since you can no longer find Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen here.

However, the seating here is more cramped so less points for ambience and service is typical of a fast food restaurant.

My second time here. After the abysmal first time, I thought I would give them an second chance. Thankfully, the counter service has improved slightly. My suggestion to the management of this outlet, train the personnel to speak clearly and to be better listeners. Why? I couldn't decipher what was being said and I received something I didn't order. As I was running late, I didn't want to argue.

I was given Sour Cream and Onion chicken with rice. I had wanted mashed potatoes, not rice. The chicken was acceptable, not good.
