Words cannot describe how bad this buffet was. By far, the worst international buffet that I have ever dined in.
I booked my table using Eatigo and got the 50% discount. The only reason I even considered dining here. If not for Eatigo, I would have never bothered. This was my 1st time here and im unsure if I am unlucky or this dinner buffet is really this bad all the time. I tried 90% of the buffet spread and I gave everything a chance.
Majority of the food there were either bland or tasted old. Food tasted as if it was pre-cooked hours before. I understand the need to cook before hand but at least cook it in a way that would not have caused it to taste so bad. All the seafood were overcooked and all the roasted meats were dry. Some food tasted as if it was recycled as the meats were too broken down, i.e the chicken breast was chalky.
Some of the food smelled bad. I ordered a place of the fried noodles and the prawns that came with it had gone bad. It smelled bad and emitted an ammonia smell which is commonly associated with seafood which is going bad.
Desserts were hopeless. The way the desserts were displayed were as if the chef have given up. Putting up 1/4 cake wedges or 1/2 cakes on the dessert counters. It felt like they were trying to stretch a whole cake for days on end to cut costs. Other desserts such as the gulab jamun was cut in half and simply put by the side to soak in the syrup. Clearly leftovers to fill up space which customers are not expected to take.
The only saving grace were the cheeses that was served. Then again, what would go wrong? It's bought and not made in house. Everything that was edible or tasted good was not of their doing. Such items are such as the cheese, coffee, fruits, and other processed foods. Although they somehow are able to mess up the ice-cream as it was too hard to scoop and had a peculiar taste to it. I witness a waiter moving the whole ice-cream fridge while scooping ice-cream for a customer as it was so damn hard, it dragged the fridge along with it.
Sushi? Bad. Obviously frozen. But then again, aren't all sashimi frozen? Well, theirs were exceptionally bland and was not very bright in colour. Probably due to the constant freezing and thawing.
Overall, an extremely disappointing experience. I expected more from a 5 star hotel. I have had better buffets even from a 4 star hotel. I didn't have much expectation going to the buffet, but boy, did they set the bar so low. I have eaten at bad buffets in my lifetime but Link @ Pullman Bangsar takes the cake.
For the original price of Rm118 per pax, its best you bring your money elsewhere unless you enjoy disappointment and bad food, then by all means, Link @Pullman Bangsar is the...

At some hotels we stayed, we are bothered bout the breakfast. As some reviews would have indicated what is good n what is not...etc. but we decided to have hotel breakfast throughout our stay this time. Reason for this was because we saw pictures that maybe hard to believe, thus decided to try for ourselves. Lets dive into the reviews!
Food: We would say that the food choices were many. Stretching from one end of the restaurant, to more than half of the seating area. There are lots of food u can choose from. Fruits, salads, bread, local canai, porridge...etc. The list goes on and on.
Service: Staff were quite attentive, although not smiling all d time, we understand not to fault them. The most negative thing we can think of is that they were eager to serve, jz without the smile. But again, each to its own. So we are kinda ok with this, so its still 5star for them🤗.
Atmosphere: The whole place was nicely decorated. Not oomph factor but adequate. With plants here and there, and the glass panel that exhibit the external roads, it gives d warm feeling of a cosy hotel.
Overall: It was a good choice to have the breakfast included as there were alotttttt of food choice. But if u do decide against having breakfast here, u can always travel out. There is a downside tho. The area is not as near to other food service providers, so u may need to walk/drive/ride out abit. Which was also one of the reason we decided to go for the breakfast here.😄
So ya, thats bout...
Read moreI'm not the person who is ever to be critical of anything, but please hear me out first. It was a Friday night, seafood buffet dinner which they charge extra as compared to their normal buffet dinner. The only good thing about dining here is the attitude of their customer service. The manager was very helpful and friendly, but they are clearly lacking in man power. (Customers had to shave their own ice kacang) There weren't even enough staffs to be stationed at every section. Literally nothing there was edible except for the sashimi, seafood, and pasta station. The other stations such as Malay, Chinese, and Indian looked extremely upsetting. The foods presented were as if they were leftovers from lunch, they looked stale and uninteresting. And I'm not even trying to exaggerate here, that really is the case. The Western and Hotpot stations were relatively fine, although the crab wasn't fresh at all, I felt sick to my stomach after taking my first bite. The breads served was stale, cold, and hard. It was very difficult to consume. Sad to say, my date night was absolutely ruined. For such a price, I was really expecting quality food. Hope there will be improvement in the...
