Backyard Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I visited the Backyard Pub in Sri Hartamas for the very first time today without any regrets ,whatsoever. Despite the Chong owners who know my parents for about 60 years or so , it was my first visit here. The food is value for money and relishing in taste from what my friends told me. The grilled Salmon served with mash potato , tartar sauce and chargrilled veg. Is what I had as my early dinner today which was at 7 pm. It was well done and really tasty. Ice Lemon tea was what I had as my drink. Most of all what made my day here, was the night entertainment of a duet band. Folks, I would advise you to wine and dine at the Backyard Pub every Thursdays because singers like Mark Renesh and Brenda Lee will certainly make your day a happy one. They sing all styles of songs. You name it ,they will do exactly what you request. They sing and play music very well and despite the covid19 pandemic the pub owners strive to do their best to make their customers happy in the best way they can in terms of food and in music and for those who love playing pool ,that service is also provided inside the pub so if you are feeling bored or down and out and wanting to listen to some good entertainment ,please patronise by going to this pub.Trust me you will have no regrets. I found this pub randomly on google as I wanted to take my dad to a place that has live music after our dinner at Desa Sri Hartamas. Coincidentally, Backyard was just 1 min walk away and they have live music Mon- Fridays!

I what’s app to book a table, and the manager Darren was super nice and accommodating. When i texted him last minute (the same day) to ask if they serve any dessert which can also be substituted as a birthday cake - our friend went a yard further by offering to purchase a cake on my behalf! i was truly surprised but warmth by his kindness. Darren also arranged for the band to play the birthday song while he presents the cake and trying to lit all 74 candles simultaneously! what a rockstar. service is excellent, we were very well taken care of and the duo band entertained us well. we also played a game of pool (there was 2 tables) just for fun.

highly recommend this pub and my friends say their food is pretty good too. hopefully, i get to return...
