First of all, how dare you publicly post my full name without my consent? That is a serious violation of my privacy, and I feel utterly disrespected and exposed. You clearly have no sense of boundaries or professionalism. I came to your restaurant expecting a decent meal, and instead, I left with disgust, anger, and now, public humiliation? Who gave you the right to make this personal?
Secondly, your staff’s attitude was absolutely unacceptable. He was rude, dismissive, and clearly treated me differently the moment I walked in. I don’t care how you spin it – I felt disrespected, judged, and humiliated. And yes, I will say it loud and clear: I felt discriminated against, and no, I will not let you silence that just because it makes you uncomfortable. You don’t get to define my experience for me.
As for the pricing: your promotional materials are misleading at best and deceptive at worst. There were no clear signs about the time limits for the RM32 price, and nowhere did it say dinner would be RM54. That’s not my fault – that’s yours. And instead of taking responsibility, your staff acted like we were the problem, speaking to us with arrogance and a total lack of empathy. One of them even gave me his name with this smug, shameless attitude, as if daring me to complain. Fine. I will. I am. And I want people to know exactly how disgusting that attitude was.
And let’s talk about the wastage charge. You conveniently ignore how tiny those trays were, and how we barely touched them because the food was not fresh. The taste was off, the texture was weird, and worst of all – we all had stomach issues after eating there. Are you going to deny that too? You say “no other customers complained”? Great – that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen to us. Stop gaslighting your customers.
I came to your restaurant hungry and excited. I left angry, humiliated, and sick. And now you try to publicly shame me for sharing my experience? No. I won’t be silenced. I won’t be intimidated. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Malaysia, and I will make sure people...
Read moreI hadn’t planned anything special for Valentine’s Day this year, but I still wanted to soak in the atmosphere a little. So, I wandered around and, by pure chance, discovered Coley, a hidden bar that turned out to be an absolute gem.
The warm lighting, the thoughtful vintage decor, and the intimate yet laid-back ambiance made it feel like a secret worth keeping.
I ordered four cocktails and a snack.
🍸 First up, Gin and Coconut.Smooth, lightly sweet, with a perfect balance of coconut flavor.
🍸 Dragon Eye was next.A mix of longan and loquat, it had this incredibly soothing, almost medicinal taste.
🍸 Here Comes the Sun—this one was for the people who don’t like the strong taste of alcohol. Light, fruity, and incredibly refreshing.
🍸 Wangi -My friend ordered it, and before I could take a sip, it was gone. That’s probably a good sign.
Kuchai Pancake-It looked… let’s just say, unconventional. A crispy pancake, topped with salted egg yolk and Lao Gan Ma? It honestly seemed like something that could go very wrong. But one bite in, and I was completely hooked. The crunch, the richness, the slight spiciness—it was so unexpectedly good.
As I sat there, sipping my cocktail and enjoying the low hum of conversations around me, I realized—sometimes the best nights are the unplanned ones. Coley wasn’t on my list, wasn’t on my radar, but it completely won me over.
A hidden gem? Definitely. A place worth...

Coley, a dimly lit bar tucked away on Jalan Abdullah in Bangsar, is a hidden gem that offers a unique and intimate drinking experience. The minimalist decor and low lighting create a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a quiet drink or a social gathering.
During my visit, I was lucky enough to be served by Kelvin, a talented bartender from Drunken Gelato Penang. We ordered a gin & coconut, a long kong G&T (a creative twist on the classic G&T), durian sticky rice, and a pisco sour. All the cocktails were expertly crafted and full of flavor. However, the durian sticky rice was a bit of a miss for me. While it was an interesting concept, I personally prefer to enjoy durian on its own.
Despite this minor hiccup, the service at Coley was excellent. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that our drinks were always full and our needs were met. The bar was quite busy during our visit, but the staff handled the crowd efficiently and maintained a high level of service.
If you're looking for a unique and stylish bar in Kuala Lumpur, Coley is definitely worth checking out. Just be sure to look out for the dimly lit signage!
Correction; Kelvin is actually from goodfriendclub, and drunken gelato is the 2nd outlet. But you will be able to meet him...
