Taste: The taste of the food here is exceptionally superb. Vietnam Kitchen offers a variety of foods ranging from traditional Vietnam cuisine to local food (tai chow). I am a long-time customer here so I can guarantee you all of their foods are worth a try. My personal favorite is Seafood Fried Rice, Chicken Rice and Pho. The foods are best paired with the chili given on the table but to try it at your own risk as it insanely spicy. They have small bites like Chee Cheong Fun and Vietnamese Popiah too. The portion here is decent, enough to make you full given that you are not too hungry. Additionally, the foods are served at a fast pace, thus making it perfect if you are seeking for fast food. The Vietnamese coffee here is definitely the bomb, that is the reason that all the customers are so loyal to this restaurant. Despite being a Vietnam restaurant, the Hainamese Tea is unexpectedly good as well.
Service: The service here is beyond nice for a small stall by the road. The auntie and the owner are really polite and they do give suggestions if you are unsure what to order. Even at peak hours, they attend to you really fast. Furthermore, they are extremely flexible, if you prefer eating fish instead of beef, it will be totally fine for you to request for the change.
Price: Affordable and it is worth for the quality. Imagine paying RM10 for a Seafood Fried Rice that comes with prawns and squid, this is uncommon in those local...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReal Vietnam/Malaysia team offering the best menu they can to make a decent living, here they are, at Jalan Cerdas 1, Taman Connaught, Cheras, where the Wednesday Pasar Malam, code name to be the biggest ever Pasar Malam in Cheras area. From the clean compound attentively been looked after plus their friendly customer service manner rendered, they had survived from the past many years since, and that proved their work so far had landed satisfactory result for them apparently. This can be seen from their full set of electrical fittings like big chest freezer, refrigerators and spacious coffee making corner and well kept kitchen area. Ordered beef noodle special, taste was not bad, Vietnam coffee tasted a bit too strong for me, any way, most customers will return for food because it's just the taste they want, and they found this place close to their working and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlong this road there are 2 Vietnamese restaurant. Not to be mixed up with Dāvietz which is 1 shop away. Parking is hard to come by, park along the highway, short walk to the cafe.
Vietnamese coffee - nice but served in a small cup. RM3.80 I prefer the coffee from Dvietz .. larger glass and cheaper by RM0.30
Spring roll - freshly made .. very authentic! Not cheap though @ RM8.00
Hometown serves spring roll but not banh mi and vice versa for Dāvietz. Will be back to try pho.
Update - this restaurant has been my go to breakfast joint! Pho was spectacular! Chee Cheong fun was ok .. liked their version of pork noodle, their fried noodles aināt too shabby šš¼ Seafood noodles just as good.
Liked the service (fast) but hated the table of aunties who smokes after...
