Edo Ichi Solaris — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

So I had lunch here today with my wife, my 1 year old daughter and my maid. We ordered 3 main set dishes and 1 udon noodle which 1 of set menu turned out to be their promotional item. We did not managed to finish all the food so we decided to take away some of the food. When we asked the waiter to take away the food, she claimed that because the food item is from the promotional menu, it is too cheap and we are not allowed to take away. I find this really ridiculous and then the waiter got her supervisor to speak to me. She again told me the same thing because the food is already very cheap, I am not allowed to take away it home. So then I questioned her if they rather throw the food away and put into waste and she answered yes. I personally find this absurd because why would a restaurant rather the food be thrown into the dump than for people to take home? If the food is really cheap as they claim then don’t sell it! Or increase the price. The set is rm26 by the way which I feel is reasonable. And the waiters all were showing bad attitude even when I was talking really nicely. 1st thing have to say ,I'm so Disappointed to choose Solaris Edo ichi branch for my group lunch.

Servise so so. Food look nice, but taste out of standard.

Salmon shioyaki a bit dry, dint taste any salmon oil, just a normal fish and dry.

Tamago egg taste Lose the Standard, the egg with the stock base is separate, it was watering, abit disgusting, taste like already keeping 1 over night day.

Customer dine in was expecting with sushi, sushi aburi or sushi rice with sashimi, but 12.30pm your staff say Finnish and have to Wait for 1 hour. Even call for reservations early, they dint mention sushi out of stock. Dissapointed with no much choice for us expecting.

The Overall was so sorry, we are Not Happy to enjoy food at Solaris Edo ichi branch, not feeling welcoming from here, much of dissapointed. Wont come back again. Not value to spend money for here.

From ours experience,their service a bit slow and they forgot to serve us hot towel When we request to refill ours green tea wait quite long time and still didnt refill for us Until we requested second time only refill for us immediately~ Other than their service, their foods and green tea taste good and all the foods in a suitable portion and fresh~ For weekend better to reserve seat with them, they quite full house and for sunday they have time limit ~ Their seat quite peak coz their shop not really big but their atmosphere quite cozy They have 3 type of seat which are room, open seat and half open seatFor my opinion, half open seat most comfortable~ Overall is a good option for japanese restaurant although a bit expensive but still in...
