My 1st time here since I was hunting high and low for a "Leicha" meal at around teatime and found this place. It's located next to "KKmart" surrounded by a massive shoplots, condos, residential area where parking is definitely a challenge. 🥴
The moment I stepped in, the worker stopped sweeping 🧹 the floor and greeted me. I was the Only one there, famished since yesterday's dinner!😆 Saw the "Leicha" menu but something else caught my eye. Chilli Ban Mee RM 13.90 🍜, Kaya butter bun 🥪 RM 4.90 & Green tea 🍵 RM 2.90 was all I ordered! 🤦🏻♀️Total damage: RM 22.80 And when the Chilli ban mee arrived, it was dry noodles, no soup! 🤯 I wanted soup... The worker said, "This one no soup, only dry." 😭😭 All the wrong moves I made. Nevertheless, it was not too bad, although dry but edible and flavourful. The tauhu pok was crispy, not too hard and noodles were all made of Veggie! 😋The Kaya butter bun 🥪 could have spread it in a better manner instead of all oozing out sideways. 🥴 Green tea 🍵 was the highlight! 👍🏻 Impressed wt the cleanliness of the place and its toilet!🚽✨ Probably the next time I'll try...

And the guy seems hesitate to tell me before replying "actually around now" ( with an awkward smile) while i try to wrap things around my head. Hahaha... And that incident happened the night before i have the pic taken. Kudos to the staff and owner as well cos from their attidude in work n towards customers, we know they certainly happy with the...
Read moreAmbience & decorations are decent. Ordered the chicken rice...ok (nothing to shout about) but I liked the soup (braised soup) was boiled long enough and tasty for vegetarian. Served with rice. Can try. Curry noodles is a little different from Malaysian style that we are used to as they have added more spices. So it taste pungent. It's ok too. Serving is decent too.
But I'm disappointed with the coffee. Expected good coffee when it's known as hailam cafe. Too bad it's really watery and kinda tasteless. Parking will be a challenge too. Cafe is...
