This is a rather popular Kopitiam that offers quite a lot of varieties including Chinese Stir Fry, Pork Noodle, Sandwiches/Western, Pan Mee, Wan Tan Mee, Curry Mee, Chee Cheong Fun & Yong Tau Foo, Waffles, Chinese Ramen, Popiah, etc.
Service: 4 🌟 During Lunch Hour the Drinks stall is understaffed. However, the staff services are friendly.
Food: Pork Noodle 3.5 🌟 It is quite tasty! Managed by a Malaysian chinese couple auntie and uncle. I believe I didn't see the English word Pork Noodle on the stall but it's in chinese only. The initial sip of the soup I feel flavours is not strong enough but eventually the flavours come through. Which means it is not overly salty or the type of soup that will make you feel thirsty. They usually sold out by 1.30pm.
Food: Prawn Noodle 3.5🌟 I think it's quite good actually. The broth has quite decent prawn flavor with slightly more spiciness than others. Hakka Delight's one is still the best in this area for Soup and Fried Noodle. Priced at Rm 10
Food: Yong Tau Foo & CCF 3.25🌟 Priced at Rm 10 (4 YTF and 1 CCF)
Food: Dumpling Ramen (Dry) 3 🌟 Ramen texture is ok. The sauce isn't really flavourful, have to eat the minced pork and the pork lard. Soup is slightly sour. The dumpling seems fresh with pork and chives fillings, is okay as well.
Food: Curry Mee 3.5🌟 Noodles is the flat type. The broth is super thick and has a lot of spices inside different than heavy santan type curry. It's quite fragrant and not really that spicy. Not too many ingredients though, 2 half Tao Pok, 2 chopped pieces of chicken, 2 bean curd skin and a few long beans. The sambal chili is pretty good. Priced at Rm 9.
Food: Fish Paste Noodle 3.5🌟 This one is quite solid. Broth flavor is clean, slightly sweet and nice. Fish paste is a bit smaller but quite nice also.
Food: Half Boiled Egg 3.5🌟 Priced at Rm 3.50 (I think), very nice eggs.
Drinks: Coffee (Iced) 3.5🌟 Flavor is nice and balanced. Priced at Rm 3.80 (I think).
Drinks: Chinese Tea (Cold) Priced at Rm 0.80...
Read moreThis restaurant will close around 15:00 every day. I came here once and tried out curry noodle only, so I do not have too many things to share. Curry noodle in Kuala Lumpur is RM9.00 for small bowl/plate now. This is not a very special delicious curry noodle, but it can make you feel full. ##Update: When I first visited this restaurant last week, the staff there told me that the restaurant opened until 15:00 daily. Today on October 14, the owner replied me in the review that the restaurant now has changed the operating hours, in which it will close at 21:00 every day. So I believe that this is a good news to those who live nearby...
