If possible, I would try to avoid Solaris Mont Kiara area. The reason is the horrendous parking - almost impossible to find a parking unless you're super early or extremely lucky or go for valet. But when unavoidable situation arises, no choice lo.

Truth be told, there are many nice restaurants in this area. Since it was only for a quick errand, I just wanted my coffee to kick start the engine in the morning.

Suddenly spotted a cafe at the corner of my eyes. Not wasting any time, walked in to be greeted by the friendly barista manning the counter. Placed order for 2 cups of nice long blacks, drank up and chow!

I took a look at their menu and the food selections looked quite delicious. Maybe I'll try that next time I...

I ordered mushroom cheese melt toast and ichiju sansai (salmon), ice latte and ice black. Despite the price being slightly on the higher side (I have tried quite a few cheese melt toast at a few cafes), the quality is there.

The toast is so flavourful (would be good if accompanied by salad), the ichiju set overall is nice (my husband rarely finds general food beyond "ok"), with the miso soup not overly salty, tamago sweetness just nice, and onigiri that loved by me and my 2.5 years old toddler.

Coffee is good. I chose to sit outdoor and the overall experience is good with the comfortable temperature as it drizzled in the morning.

Too bad the waffle and bingsu weren't available, they are only available...

Keep coming back for their scone & coffee !!

Hardly find a good scone in KL Their scone is the slightly wet type not the 100% dry like biscuits type . This texture of scone is not easy to find which I really like it

The scone served with this jam that contain a who cherry inside ! The other one is cream cheese

The Chinese girl is very helpful I discussed with her before on the scone and she told me she made it

The dish I do not recommend is their egg mayo sandwich . It’s too strong on taste coz with too much mustard . I told the girl before already hope they...

My son recommended this place for coffee. This morning I went in asking for plain croissants, but they were not delivered yet and I didn’t want almond croissants etc… The lady serving recommended a bakery across the road, and a regular customer offered to show me the way. It seems I could buy the croissants and bring back to Hoh’s to have it with their coffee. I brought my croissant back to Hoh’s & the lady had it warmed up and served on a plate. I was so impressed with the service! Of course my coffee, a flat white was excellent.

This morning I went in asking for plain croissants, but they were not delivered yet and I didn’t want almond croissants etc… The lady serving recommended a bakery across the road, and a regular customer offered to show me the way. It seems I could buy the croissants and bring back to Hoh’s to have it with their coffee. I brought my croissant back to Hoh’s & the lady had it warmed up and served on a plate. I was so impressed with the service! Of course my coffee, a flat white was excellent.
