This is a classic Cantonese-style aka Hong Kong dimsum 点心 restaurant which of course, is non-halal. Being a southern dimsum restaurant means Shanghai "xiao-long-bao" 小笼包 and Beijing steamed pork dumpling or "jiao-zi" 饺子, i.e. dimsum of the northern region have to play second fiddle here as these are not the main varieties on offer. While it is true that the minced pork bun ("cha-xiao-bao"义烧包) and "xiao-mai" (pork dumpling烧卖) are delicious but not fantastic in the Cantonese tradition, one should sample their "yu-mai" (fish paste 鱼卖), "har-kao" (prawn dumpling虾饺), "lo-mai-kei" (glutinous rice with chicken 米鸡), stuffed lady fingers, stuffed chilli, deep-fried prawn fritters (炸虾角) juicy yam fritter (芋头角) and carrot cake (萝卜糕) which are well prepared in 'Goldilock' size for your gastronomic enjoyment. Another dimsum item worthy of your attention is the so-called quicksand package aka "lao-sar-bao" (流沙奶黄包) which is a favorite among kids. It's a steamed juicy bun filled with sweetened butter and egg yolk not normally available among other dimsum outlets. In a sense, therefore, you get a pretty good selection of dimsum of the non-exotic varieties for most except the very discerning customers, including the very well cooked, textureful and flavorsome century- egg porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥) which comes highly recommended. Nothing being served here should surprise you in any way, including the wide array of Cantonese desserts on offer for your clear-the-table pleasure or "desservir" (the french word from which the English word of dessert originates). About the only complaint a dimsum aficionado may lament is the lack of quality Chinese tea available for selection for a wholesome Cantonese "yum-char" experience (tea break 飲茶). However, bringing your favorite "char wong" (茶王) or "loong zhiang"(龙井) tea along should resolve this predicament amicably. Overall, the air-conditioned ambience is relaxing except on a crowded day and the place is generally well maintained and often kept clean, with a level of service that is generally acceptable. It is indeed a decent place to go for dimsum with friends, family or business associates who enjoy dimsum of the "southern" varieties, offered at a price level aimed at the...

All food served (pau, fried prawn dumplings, wugok,...) is cold, especially the cheong fun, the oil is all floating on the surface, two of us also can't even finish it since the cheong fun is tasteless and cold.

Service is the most terrible part. When we first enter the restaurant, no one is willing to serve us. Keep on pushing the service call button around 5 times, nobody entertained us. At last, we stand and call the waiters.

The waiter takes the wrong food to our table. When we tell the waiter she serves us the wrong food, she is not checking anything and directly blames us rudely and clarifying this is our fault. But lastly, we show the evidence to her, and she says she finally wants to admit her mistake and change the food for us.

We order a drink at the beginning, and the drink is not served to us. We call a waiter and ask her why the drink is not served, then the waiter says order is not recorded is their system. When we pay the bill, the drink is included in our bill. Perhaps the waiter don't want to serve us with that drink.

Food quality so so. Compare to other outlets like damansara outlet and C180 outlet, this main store has poor food quality. Price is not worth for their food quality.

Foods: Order by ticking what dim sum you want on a piece of paper form available on the table, then pass it to one of the server will do. Freshly steamed and fried dim sum generally tastes good, except those fried dim sum that are readily available for some time already, it’s cold and soggy, can be pretty gross to get the soggy fried dim sum.

Drinks: We ordered Chinese tea. Tea by pot or by cup, please make yourself clear. Or else they gonna just charge you the price by cup and not refillable. If tea by pot is charge per pax and hot water is refillable.

Service: The service here is fine, workers are mostly foreigner, some don’t understand Chinese English or Malay, might have a hard time to communicate with them sometime.

Ambience: Have air conditioner indoor. Morning, weekend and holidays generally have more people, sometime even have a little queue.

Parking: Parking is pretty challenging and can be real hard to get one nearby. Can do a double park infront of the restaurant, they will announce your car plate no. if your car is blocking someone way out.

Price: Price is around Rm35 per person, around Rm145 for 17 items.

Would I come back again: Yes.

Overall: The overall experience was really good. Decent portions...
