Jojo Little Kitchen @ Desa Sri Hartamas — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! This restaurant has ZERO flexibility. Let me tell you why:-

I dont know this guy whether is he the boss apparently. I ordered vegetarian chili panmee (no minced meat, no anchovies), I asked whether can replace anything like taupok for me, he said no (when I’m literally looking at the curry mee with taupok served). Fine. So I got charged the same for having less. Well.

When I finish eating, I notice I do not have sufficient cash (I dont carry much cash and usually use e-wallet since majority of the chain restaurant do accept. I admit I’m wrong at some point as I didnt notice theres written CASH ONLY. If I do, I would not have my lunch here TBH.) I asked the same guy, can I like online transfer / e-wallet to him, then he pay the cashier with cash. The answer he gave me is no (again). And he is so kind to inform me there is a Ambank right behind for cash withdrawal.

In this new era, providing ZERO FLEXIBILITY to customer. I will not visit this restaurant again, although this is my x times visited here. Anyway, this is purely my own encounter and feedback, this may not mean anything to anyone. Bon...

If you’re a fan of Jojo’s pan mee, skip this branch and go straight to SS2. The SS2 one is much much better. The food is better, the staff are better. The food at the Hartamas branch was just so subpar, even the chilli had no taste. The ikan bilis in the pan mee also tasted funky (funky bad). The staff refused to bring us straws and told us to get them ourselves while we were already halfway through our meal, and we asked 3 of them, all 3 of which responded very rudely. Also, the payment method was ONLY CASH. We live in the digital age. Who even carries cash anymore? First and last time ever at Jojo’s Desa...

Food used to be very good and I used to like their Knife Cut Noodle soup very much. Lately, their soup is bland and tasteless.

The lady staff even got my order wrong and scolded us when we pointed out her mistake. I ordered a prawn dumpling pan mee and she gave me century egg dumpling pan mee instead. She was rude and unapologetic. Horrible experience. Luckily the male staff was more polite and rectified immediately. The two female waitresses (foreigner) which were both stuck up and not willing to work should be replaced...
