I recently had the pleasure of dining at KNK Yakiniku Sri Hartamas, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.

The star of the show, of course, was the Wagyu beef. Each cut was of the highest quality, marbled to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. The yakiniku experience here is truly a step above—grilling the beef yourself adds a personal touch, but the staff is always on hand to assist, ensuring everything is cooked to perfection.

Speaking of the staff, the service was impeccable. Especially one of the staff, Yin, she is so kind and beautiful. A lot of passion from her. The team was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to provide recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. They even took the time to explain the best grilling techniques and sauces to pair with the different cuts of Wagyu.

The ambiance was intimate yet lively, perfect for both a special occasion or a casual night out. Was there with friends for birthday dinner. greeted by a very attentive and friendly server name Harry. After taking our order of family set and drinks, he took time to recommend A5 Wagyu meat. Good approach by the company to clearly shown the price and weight of each selection (transparency). the food was served promptly, meat is fresh and in good portion. meat is grilled over a small charcoal stove which add on the authentic experience. nothing is overseasoned, where we get to enjoy the taste and freshness. only minor down side is lettuce is not free refillable. the A5 wagyu is juicy and fresh, it melts in your mouth, no heavy seasoning where we get to taste the buttery and tenderness of the texture. the branch is kind enough to gave us a fruit platter as birthday gift (thanks to Kelvin and Harry). the price is adequate, matches the location and food portion. overall, is a nice cosy place to have dinner with friends and family. reservation is...

The quality of the food used to be 10/10, but it went down significantly yesterday!

The kimchi noodles were so dry; it was clear that the noodles were leftover from the previous day. There was a hair in the Wagyu platter, which cost around 500 ringgit! We informed the manager, but he only transferred the food from the plate with the hair to a smaller plate. When we mentioned that the noodles were not fresh, the manager said they could change it after we finished eating, but we were already very full by then. The complimentary watermelon was also extremely dry. Despite being very dissatisfied with the food quality, the manager still asked us to leave after we had spent over 1400 ringgit at the restaurant.
