Nice and peaceful cafe with a selection of Korean and Japanese-inspired dishes. not exactly the traditional cuisines, but more modern, simplified versions with similar flavours. which means a lot of rice bowl style dishes. Very balanced-tasting, wholesome, comfort food style dishes.
Honestly for the price, I think the serving size is quite small. But for the beef bowl I had, the beef quantity was generous and the beef itself was delicious, tender and succulent. Just the rice and other ingredients were lacking in quantity and variety.
Also, I really dislike the menu as a first timer. The layout is very unwelcoming for first timer to the cafe. Because there's a lot of original dishes to choose from, it can be hard to make a choice when it's your first time because you won't be familiar with most of the dishes. So instead of having big, clear photos and descriptions of the dishes, you have to absorb 2 pages of stamp-size photos of unique rice bowls. Also, I prefer if the menu is broken up into more categories so people who aren't really sure what to get can pick by what category they feel like having. Ultimately, it's about onboarding your customers to your product and helping them on their journey to make a choice.
Also, aircond was too cold so the food went cold fast.
Just my opinion, hope this helps you all to improve. Thanks and I will come again to try...
Read moreHad dinner here 2 days ago and it was rather disappointing. Although the food was quite ok but not for big eaters (btw we’re ok with the portion ourselves). My wife ordered the soup rice and I ordered the noodle which cost the same (RM38 each which we thought were not cheap and fyi they were both Asian dishes). My wife’s food came first and it came NATURALLY with a small condiment of ‘chilli padi’ without our request for one. The disappointment came when my noodle was served but it was without the chilli padi and I thought they could have forgotten to serve one. When I politely requested for one like what my wife was served, I was shocked to hear from the waiter that ‘“you need to pay RM1 for that”. We were utterly perplexed and shocked, I pay RM38 for a small bowl of noodle and need to pay RM1 for a little condiment? And the irony was my wife was given the condiment even without asking for one. I asked the waiter may be you should talk to your manager but till my last scoop of my noodle, nothing happened. The whole dinner cost RM148 (including my daughter’s meal) and they couldn’t even give me a little condiment of chilli padi. Well, will I come back here again? Yes if there is nothing else to eat in...

We ordered ox tongue rice bowl marinated with mirin sauce, lemongrass chicken poppers and green tea latte.
Ox tongue rice bowl was very flavourful with a hinge of spiciness. Ox tongue was tended and it matches very well with fried garlic slices. Personally think the portion is quite small but its enough for someone with small appetite like me.
Lemongrass chicken poppers was mediocre, its ntg to shout about. Cabbage was refreshing and it goes well with fried chicken so that u won't get jelak eating just chicken. Personally feel that chicken can be better if its juicier.
As for drinks, too much ice added to my green tea latte which makes it diluted after awhile. Can be thicker.
Service was fine. We went in the morning ard 11.15am so it has plenty of seat and waiters were attentive cuz not much people.
Price is counted as average, but if you're a big eater.. I don't think their portion of food is enough. (pls refer to the photo)
Overall, its a 4/5. Personally kinda like the ox tongue rice bowl. Will come back once in awhile...
