My 1st and my last. Not coming back.

Ordered Hakka Mee, Curry Chee Cheong Fun w/ BBQ Pork, Glutinous Rice, Kaya Puff, and Iced Coffee (Kaw).

Hakka Mee - noodle was good, just the right texture. But too salty.

Curry CCF - curry was too sweet. Couldnt finish it as it was too "muak". The toppings (fish cake, fried beancurd, bbq pork) were very plain and disappointing. This even has a Chef's Recommendation tag, what nonsense!

Glutinous Rice - this was my go-to breakfast everytime I go back to Ipoh so I ordered this since it was under the "Ipoh Specialty" section in the menu. What was served can only be described as insult to our Ipoh food. Not only the peanuts were soggy, the rice being overcooked (or added too much water), they even added nasi lemak sambal!!! Did they just assume that "if this dish has peanuts, they must have sambal too"? The sambal spoiled the whole rice.

Kaya Puff - skin is crispy. But too thick. Kaya is plain.

Iced Coffee (kaw) - "kaw" means "thick". So I was expecting something with a strong coffee taste. It was okay, nothing special, but definitely not "kaw".

Chinese Kopitiam that serves usual.food like

Atmosphere: 2.75🌟 I don't feel the air conditioning. There are some fans but it's blowing the hot air around still so still hot. Tables and chairs are solid and decent space between tables. I like the antique feel design. I asked the cashier and she said that it's due to electricity problem. I feel so much better once I walk outside, inside it's like slowly getting cooked. Until this is fixed, this area will be rated lower.

Service: 4🌟 Friendly service from the tall big guy.

Food: Siew Pao 3.25🌟 Flavour not too bad, dough quite thick and hard/crispy and slightly flakey. Fillings seems to be the usual BBQ Pork with sweet/fragrant dark sauce. Priced at Rm 2.80

Food: Curry Siew Pao 2.75🌟 Size is just slightly bigger than normal Siew Pao. Similar dough but fillings are curry potatoes but the spices are not fragrant enough and almost zero spiciness.

Drinks: White Coffee (Cold) 3.5🌟 Their signature drink and I ordered with milk. It's not too sweet and the coffee tastes quite strong but doesn't have the fragrance...

Food is average, that’s the best way I can describe it. Not outstanding, but not disgusting. Good for a quick breakfast. This outlet menu has less items than some other outlets I’ve tried, for some reason.

I always get the nasi lemak - very safe. In the past I’ve tried fish ball soup (very bland). Wantan mee and Siewyok rice are safe picks, not disappointing. We always order the fried wantan - it’s also just alright, nothing special. Not sure why we always order it.

Restaurant recently rearranged their counter around. Very spacious now. Outdoor table has gaps and sometimes your cold drink drips down on your leg. Very disgusting… owner and staff...
