Had lunch for 2 and we ordered the pork leg rice, minced pork omelette, moo ping, green curry chicken and for desserts we had the red ruby in coconut milk. The pork leg was tender and the flavors permeate nicely. The sauce was savory but might be a tad too sweet for some. Note: The chilli garlic sauce that came with this dish hits all the right spots for me. The minced pork omelette was a good side dish especially for those who love their eggs deeply fried with crispy ends. Next, the green curry chicken is equally tantalising with strong aromatics and milky thick texture that goes really well with rice. The moo ping skewers were well seasoned, tender and lightly crisp. Lastly, the red ruby dessert tasted alright albeit not the best I had. Overall, the food here tasted amazing and I would certainly recommend this place without a doubt.
The place isn't too large so it may be packed during peak hours but comfortable enough to accommodate diners and gatherings. Parking isn't the easiest as one can expect here in sri petaling.
Prices were reasonably good in my opinion. The total bill came up to RM82 inclusive of a rosette drink.
Update: I returned and got ourselves the sweet and sour fried tilapia with another order of the deep fried pork belly in the newly launched menu. The fish was crispy but its meat remained tender. There was no hint of fishy taste or smell so that's also a plus. Unlike the Chinese version of sweet and sour, this one came in a sweet sauce concoction that's heavily garnished with garlic and chilli bits. I felt the sauce was a good match with the fried fish and I absolutely love that strong garlicky taste. I went for the mild spiciness but I think the medium one would hit the sweet spot. I was also amazed with the deep fried pork belly. What sounded like a common dish found in many places turned out to be a delicious plate of crispy pork belly with an aroma that simply blew me away. The shrimp paste was noticeable yet it didn't overwhelm. The pork belly was mostly tender although some were drier than others. This trip has convinced me again that the Thai food here is certainly...
