Plage Kitchen and Bar — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I came here with very low expectations on food .merely visited because it’s an easy location from my home on a friday evening. We ordered Pad thai, their “signature” river prawn arrabiatta , thai mama mee , panna cotta and mango sticky rice. To our disappointment none of what we ordered is nice - at all! Scale from 1-10 it’s not even a 0.5! Pad thai was horrible , they tried too hard to be fancy by wrapping the noodles into fried egg and it caused the noodles to become sticky and the texture is disgusting to swallow. It’s also soggy with zero depth of flavors. The prawn arrabiatta holy lord i never imagined it to be that bad ! Thick red super smooth tomato broth with loads of parmesan cheese bought from grocer glammed with a river prawn. Spaghetti was not al dente whilst i dont expect handmade at least do “arrabiatta” some justice ! Being a pasta lover this is incredibly hard to accept. I couldn’t eat two mouths of it. Located in Pinnacle Sri Petaling, First Floor. Visited many months backkk, any improvements after that, i am clueless about.

Arrived around 3.20pm, asked if we could get a table, lady at entrance said they are full and there is a waitlist. Waited 5mins and asked her again. There issss, Just insist. Force your way in if you have to (hehehe just kidding).

Kitchen is close around the time we got in, it will reopen back at 6pm. In the meantime can only order drinks.

When you walk in you can see soooo many empty tables with reserved sign, one was written 7pm. I think they should be better in this and not create Unnecessary queue. They could say smth like you can sit but theres reservation at 7pm so you need to leave by then.

It is a nice insta place but the drinks serve doesnt fit the vibe. Sooo biasaaaa.

Hot Cappuccino (rm11); cup so small, my cat could finished it just like that.

im a regular customer and my kid likes the atmostphere of this restaurant Today i want to raise a very unpleasant dine in experiece. Its all about the customer service. today we walk in with several kids. As usual they are very excited hooping to the stage and immediately the waitress giving us a very annoying face ,we were then told there was an interview on-going. Well, we hv immediately calm down the kids and get a seat far at the back, away from that 'interview' table. Spending an hour plus there and apparently the 'interview' still not ends. There was when we are about to leave and again seeing the waitress with annoying face looking the kids at the stage and mumbling omg omg .sigh.. To be frank, if your interview need quiet ambience. I would suggest you highlight to us upfront that no kids is welcome today. Our kids are not those uncontrollable types but kids being kids,they are excited. They did not wild scream.
