Chinese Kopitiam that offers usual food like Curry Noodle, Beef Noodle, Char Kuey Teow, Chee Cheong Fun, Rojak, Bak Kut Teh, Steam Fish, Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak, Fried Snacks, etc
Atmosphere: 3.75๐ Not a lot seats inside, most seats are outside. This place is quite popular but purely depends on wind as there's no fan in the outside seats. Most outside seats are under small tents but it will not be good enough if there's heavy rain.
Food: Beef Noodle 3.75 ๐ I like it. Soup is flavourful.and quite a lot ingriedeints. The mixed normal priced at Rm 15 but the star is the Rm 5 add-on option beef slices (weekend only) which is super tender. However, this add-on usually sold out by 12:30 pm
Food: Chicken Rice 3.5 ๐ The chicken is good and the roast pork is pretty good. Portion is also good. Priced at Rm 14 for Chicken + Additional Chicken + Roast Pork.
Food: Char Kuey Teow 3.5 ๐ Quite tasty. Priced at Rm 9.
Food: Braised Pork Leg 3.5 ๐ Food: Steam Fish 3.5 ๐ Steam Fish is quite good here (I feel better if compared to the night Stall at Happy Garden) of the same brand. However the braised pork leg seems less flavourful a bit but still good.
Food: Curry Noodle 3.5 ๐ Not bad but sold out early like by 12:30 pm. Priced at Rm 9
Food; Chee Cheong Fun 3 ๐ Limited choices of ingredients mainly for CCF (not Yong Tau Foo). The sauce is standard.
Food: Chicken Cutlet Omurice 3.5 ๐ Ichiren No Tamase is the stall name right outside beside Allison. Curry is Japanese type, not spicy and seems a bit more watery. The egg is very smooth and soft, very nice. While the sauce lacks depth, the chicken is very well seasoned and not dry. Priced at Rm 12.
Food: Fried Snacks 3.25 ๐ Not bad. Has fried bananas, tapioca, etc. Self service take what you want into prepared plastic bag.
Food: Rojak 3 ๐ It's decent. Personally ingredients are too much sour for me (Pineapple, Sour Mango). I don't like the crunchy thing as well as it's lack of flavour but indeed crunchy. The sauce is quite good.
Food: Asam Laksa 2.5 ๐ Taste is out of balance in my opinion and also not flavourful. Priced at Rm 10
Drinks: Watermelon Juice 3.5...
ย ย ย Read moreThough we have visited this hot area which is famous for good foods many times, this was our first time to visit this kopitiam for brunch. I would like to try Rojak, but I waited for no one to serve me for around 3 mins, then I left to try others. Hopefully I could try the Rojak next time, as the Rojak here will mix with crispy pork skin, which I have never tried before. I ordered the garlic pork liver from Yi Tiao Yu, taste nice and fresh. For people who can accept pork liver, you may order the small one RM6 for a try, or the big one RM8 for more portion. The chili sauce attached with the pork liver is a good match! Besides, we also tried the chicken rice and chee cheong fen. The Chee Cheng Fen, we gave a rate 3 out of 5, as the sauce did not taste that nice, when pairing with the Fen and those Niang Tofu. For Chicken rice, I ordered white chicken and char siu, which cost RM13, slightly costly. However, the chicken meat was good and juicy, but char siu is standard taste. Not only standard chicken rice chili sauce, they also provided the minced ginger paste (especially for white chicken). We also saw there is a Tong Sui stall selling Sweet Potato soup, Oat Porridge, etc. Beside the Tong Sui, there is a Japanese stall selling Omurice. I hope I can try them during...

Update July 2023 : A new stall serving Japanese style Egg wrapped rice which turned out to be very good and cheap.
Sometime in 2021 : We're on the opposite side of the road when we were attracted by the aroma from the Char Kuey Teow stall. CKT by the white haired uncle was quite good and not too oily, RM 6 per plate.
Other items were also quite good. Seafood noodles was quite good with flavorful enough soup base and fresh ingredients.
Curry chicken Wonton noodles was quite good too. Rich, creamy and delicious curry with coconut milk. The chicken was tender albeit a little bland. Noodles was a little chewy and a little springy, definitely good enough.
Char Siu Bao and Dao Sa Bao were surprisingly quite good too. Dim Sum would be good and relatively cheaper than other places.
Toasted bread with margarine and coconut jam would be average. They didn't seem to serve butter here. The foreign worker couldn't understand butter, she kept on saying "Planta". Tea was fine though.
Definitely...
