Limóne, Bukit Damansara — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Visited Limone with a friend for dessert and tea after reading lots of great reviews about the place. The service and atmosphere of the cafe were great (patient & accommodating staff, quiet area that's great for catching up). Unfortunately, we came with expectations, and the cakes that we ordered (Limone cake and Coco Noisette) did not meet it.

The Limone cake - which looked great, shaped like a lemon - had a layer of "skin" that contributed to an artificial taste & strange aftertaste. Not sure if that was intended. It got better when we reached the middle of the cake - not too sweet, and relatively tart (both my friend and I would have preferred it to be more sour, but we understand that our preferences may not be as widespread).

Similarly, the Coco Noisette also had an artificial taste to it (prominent in the dollop of hazelnut coffee cream on top of the dessert). The cake itself is creamy and chocolate-y, but nothing particularly outstanding.

We also got the hojicha matcha and cappucino for drinks. Those were alright, but we'd definitely prefer it if the drinks came to us hot instead of lukewarm.

We didn't have a chance to try the mains, though, perhaps those might be much better! If we do visit again, we might give the mains a try instead.

Prices: Cakes: RM21 each (we definitely had expectations for this premium price) Drinks: RM12 for cappucino, RM15 for...

I had the most wonderful dining experience at Limone. I am currently observing a special vegetarian diet with strict restrictions (no onion, garlic, egg, and green vegetables), and the team went above and beyond to cater to my needs.

The staff were warm, attentive, and truly caring — but what impressed me most was the chef’s effort and creativity. Instead of just removing ingredients, the chef crafted a special vegan clean mushroom risotto exclusively for me, using oat milk, truffle, fresh herbs, and a carefully prepared vegetable stock. The attention to detail and respect for my dietary requirements was remarkable — it was not only thoughtful but absolutely delicious.

It is rare to find a restaurant that takes such genuine care in ensuring guests feel welcomed and accommodated. I left feeling grateful, satisfied, and very touched by their hospitality.

We recently had our event at Limóne Café and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. The place itself is gorgeous – bright, cozy, and full of character with its lemon-themed décor and lush greenery. It gave such a fresh and cheerful vibe, which made the atmosphere perfect for our gathering.

The food was another highlight. From savory dishes to lighter options, everything was well prepared and flavourful. The spread kept everyone happy, and it was clear that each dish was crafted with care. And of course, the desserts stole the show.

On top of that, the service team was friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly for the event. Thanks again to Chef Tee, Chef Intan, Kitchen Crew & the staff! It really felt effortless from start to finish, and our colleagues left with a great impression.

Overall, Limóne Café was the perfect venue – a beautiful setting, great food and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host a small event or even just to drop by for brunch...
